Insider threats are a bigger concern to me than outsider threats honestly. think about it. Some workers that go through the airport completely skip security screening, so they can carry and do literally anything once they're in.

The official story is he covered a sensor with a piece of foam to delay the flight so he could get overtime. I'm not an aeronautical engineer, but I believe the sensor is only active in flight and can cause crashes if not functioning.
