In 2016, this independently-funded group of scientists successfully created a small replica of a star in their laboratory.
It is a vacuum plasma reactor, inside which they have confirmed to be able to initiate and sustain nuclear transmutation - nuclear chemistry reactions, similar to fusion, but with no radiation, no hazardous waste, no dangers, etc.
These scientists have had their noses to the grindstone, testing the fuck out of it 24/7 for the past three years. After so much testing, they finally feel confident that their scientific models/theories are certifiably valid.
Now they want to begin applying this scientific breakthrough to create extremely inexpensive energy for society, with effectively zero environmental impact.
Compared to all present-day power generation methods, this is: - Much less expensive to build and operate - Greater energy output - More cost efficient - Lower environmental impact, even lower than modern-day solar and wind power
This is independently funded, with no patent squatting, and no corporate dipshits controlling it.
How long until the big players in the energy industry begin trying to crush this with all of their fury?
all atoms undergo nuclear transmutation you fucking retard, that's what half life is. show me i/o in watts and a BOM >any nuclear energy without people in rad suits is a lie
Easton Evans
There was no fucking need to throw God knows how many billions to develop this. Nuclear fission is perfect for the world but ((they)) had to kill it off. >muh waste Fucking reprocess it >muh radiation Scaremongering >muh explosions Statistically proven to be the safest form of energy >muh proliferation Not a real risk considering how well guarded the material is
Aaron Sanchez
probably something like a teaspoon of uranium could power your life for 100 years
Luis Myers
>all atoms undergo nuclear transmutation you fucking retard, that's what half life is.
When I say "transmutation," I'm referring to changes in proton count, not neutrons. The atoms are changing from one element to another.
>show me i/o in watts and a BOM The team who created this have produced annual project status update videos every year since 2016. They have covered this in their presentations, and explained in detail how it operates, with I/O metrics etc. Here's their 2019 presentation: youtube.com/watch?v=DTaXfbvGf8E (Side note, they presented this at MIT recently.)
>any nuclear energy without people in rad suits is a lie You stand corrected.
Julian Ward
>God knows how many billions to develop this. I don't remember the exact numbers, but I think they spent less than $50 million developing this.
>Nuclear fission is perfect perfect, lol By that metric, this reactor is even more perfect, even if only by virtue of being more cost-efficient.
Jackson Martinez
We didn't have to go this far for a cheap energy solution. American, English, and German autists gave us the answer but we ignored it.
Landon Miller
>but we ignored it. True, fission reactors have been needlessly dragged by the media forever.
Normies haven't been able to overcome the anti-fission propaganda.
With a new alternative that isn't fission, produces more energy than fission at a fraction of the cost, doesn't require radioactive fuel, and doesn't produce radioactive waste, maybe the normies can finally move past all the anti-fission nonsense, and hit the climate-change swindlers where it hurts, by finally destroying the traditional solar/wind/hydro industry once and for all.

The biggest point of this you're missing is that it supports Electric Universe theory and has the potential to turn the standard model on it's head. I've known about it for years but don't bother sharing it here because Jow Forums is full of conspiratards and brainlets who can't stomach actual science.
Bentley Wilson
Fuck man, one can only hope
Zachary Moore
Let me guess they just need a little funding to invent this Sci fi shit am I right, just a couple million
(OP here) Nope, they aren't soliciting for donations. They were funded years ago. And the inventing has already been completed.

Very interesting and and appears realist, thanks for the link user

doubt.

*realistic

>small replica of a star Looks like a lightbulb
Parker Mitchell
I don't blame you. I recommend watching all of their presentations, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised how real and practical it is. There's no BS here.
Samuel Brooks
(((them)))
Josiah Murphy
>don't question science propaganda goy, they created a miniature star The thing is we have had ways of free energy since Tesla and it didn't rely on science fiction such as in the OP
William Reed
>Looks like a lightbulb That's actually not a coincidence.
I don't want to get too deep into the science here, but non-LED light bulbs operate by passing an electric charge between two metal prongs. The atmosphere inside the bulb is sealed from the outside, and whatever gasses were pumped into the bulb in the factory obviously do not conduct current. So the gasses have to phase-shift into plasma to conduct the current, and the plasma radiates light in the process (light output energy sapped from the current passing through).
Long story short, when you create a plasma reactor, and replicate the plasma atmosphere of the sun, many of the same factors are involved, because plasma physics is plasma physics.
Whether it's in a light bulb, or powering the sun, the end result is largely the same: energized plasma radiating light and heat (and other stuff, depending on the severity of transmutation e.g. proton streams, neutron streams, etc.)
John Butler
>OP is science propaganda OK ... but why? Why would they spend millions of dollars of their own money, refuse to solicit donations even when offered, have no money-making agenda, spend three years busting their asses on this project full-time, with no payout?
Propaganda always has an hidden agenda (e.g. climate-change). What'd the agenda here?
(Hint: Their agenda is to make science progress, which is usually hindered by normies and corporations who make money off of keeping science stagnant.)

Bu - uhhgghh - ump
(Oh wait, I'm the OP, hurry up and archive so I can eat, my fingers are tired from refreshing so hard.)
lol it actually bumped, I was not expecting that. Well fuck it, I'm too hungry. If anyone else wants to claim this is bullshit, someone else can refute them. I gotta go eat, niggas. (the importance of a comma)
Carter Harris
That would be a much appreciated middle finger to the leftists preaching infanticide and cannibalism
