The main driver will be economic, bad times ahead in the next couple of years. But it won't lead to civil war or race wars. It will probably just lead to a major shift in policies and an even bigger gap between poor and rich. The biggest change will probably be the outer residential areas in big cities like LA, NYC, Miami, etc. it'll be inner city opulence and outer city mega slums like how Washington DC right now.
For most of us, we won't even know it happened until we realize a decade has passed and a majority of us are in a worse economic situation than we are now.
But by then it'll be too late. It already started and there is no stopping it. But it's cyclical so there will good times ahead again 10-15 years ahead.
