Actually the home guard never used this as their flag, it was just spread as propaganda by the communists after the war. They managed to demonize the Oberkrain eagle and the slovene national flag (white blue red, the same as modern russian flag). During our independence the reformed commies (LDS...) prevented the slovene national flag to be used as the state flag. If it weren't for them, Russia would use a different flag today.
