why do normies freakout for a hurricane than most likely wont kill them but refuse to prepare for the upcoming government gun grab?

>but refuse to prepare for the upcoming government gun grab
record number of AR flew off the shelves the last time they tried to gun grab.
Diane Feinstein has been trying for 25 years to disarm the US.

It's been a very long time since an oligarch has snatched all guns away from a large population then have them all killed (using guns) after they resisted orders from up the hierarchy to give the government all your stuff to be shipped overseas to a different country.

If anyone needs out of office it's this cunt.

they'd be better off just buying a TON of water. Most of America is fat as fuck and could survive just fine on water only and possibly Peanut Butter.

Prepare for gun grab and food shortage.

Stockpile on foods, stockpile on ammo.

lol. meanwhile i've continued preparing. was in a good position for dorian but had plenty of room for improvement

Just get the steel GI mags for like $7 each and buy 300 mags instead of 30

How are you prepping? I assume you have your water and food on a second level if your home is 2 story or at least elevated on the first floor in a water proof container. How is your situation on batteries, usb battery banks, HF/VHF radios? Etc. Grab some Baofengs before the FCC bans them the end of this month.

>Peanut Butter
Its a very underrated survival food.

preps are not on ground level. right now water is publix gallons but i plan to get some high quality scepter containers eventually. food is mostly mountain house with some random last minute stuff. i'll add more variety later. have a weather radio, solar charger, headlamp. have existing battery banks that i plan to replace with a larger one. picked up quality plastic water resistant containers today that i'm now storing a bunch of this stuff in. still need a hurricane bugout bag in case the roof comes off

imo baofeng ban hype is largely unfounded, i suspect it's being pushed by those set to profit from affiliate links. have been intentionally not buying them for months, don't think i will. comms is definitely a TBD that i intend to address eventually

that doesn't cover everything and there's a lot more work to be done but you get the idea

what about you

any non-obvious tactical considerations to smooth vs crunchy in this scenario?
