"I have a handler who is a part of this. He did tell me that no one would believe me or understand how or why I could be sex-trafficked for 17 years. It started by them taking away my education. The past shows that people like me that speak out or investigate the truth of this ring, (-that I am a victim of) end up dead. I am doing this because it is important for people to know what I witnessed. If I die, so be it. The FBI and independent journalist are only in touch with me to poke holes in my story and sway public opinion. I am doing what I can and being attacked for it. I feel much like the little girl in the Devils Advocate on the witness stand. Knowing I am telling the truth but being devoured by those in power. I stand firm knowing I am doing the right thing. I cannot help those who cannot see that. I am happy there are people who are willing to hear victims out. Thank you."
How do we help her get the mental health care she needs? Who do we contact? I find this all sad.
Anyone that denies these stories just sounds like fear & complacency to me, and is choosing to side with silencing anyone who tries to bring light to the situation
