Zoomer here. Despite the degeneracy and propaganda shoved in our faces on a daily basis, a huge portion of us are able to see through the bullshit. The internet and nearly instant access to information using a smartphone allows us to challenge and dispute what we've been told from our schools and the government. Unlike previous generations, we no longer have to rely on 'traditional' sources of information, freeing us from the elite's propaganda machine.

I agree, but only partly. Social media and the internet at large is just one big dopamine dispenser, and fighting that addiction is going to be one of my generation's biggest pitfalls/challenges. However, I think the access to information and the freedom to share our thoughts/ideas online outweighs the potential issues you discussed. Most of the backlash you hear against the internet is propagated by boomers who simply don't understand 21st century methods of communication.
