Blacks were on the sideline. There are three groups there. The whites, muslims and blacks.
The muslim guy stayed over with the blacks knowing they were coming after him. His hopes were that they'd come to his aid or that the whites weren't going to attack him in front of them. It was a desperate tactic and his last ditch effort to form an alliance was futile.
