>I'm not a dictator. It's just that I have a grumpy face.
>Sometimes democracy must be bathed in blood.
>I regret and suffer those losses, but it's God's will. He will pardon me if I committed excesses, but I don't think I did.
>Everything I did, all my actions, all of the problems I had I dedicate to God and to Chile, because I kept Chile from becoming Communist.
During 65 years, I have walked the path of duty and discipline... And today, looking back at that long path of service, my soldier's heart stirs and murmurs from deep within: Thank you. Thank you, my homeland.

Yea im thinking so

>Was he our guy? Y/N ?
He was good for his country, but he was a CIA puppet at the end of the day. Some of his speeches and writings are worth reading through, he was based, but he had shortcomings. Someone similar to Pinochet rising to power is much more likely than another Hitler, and Pinochet is a good entry-point for a lot of cuckservatives to get on-board with "nonpolitical" solutions.

A lot of TPUSA types are totally against any form of violence, yet support the 2nd Amendment and hate Communism. Convincing them that Pinochet was right and the "I've only killed communists" etc. quotes/memes is unironically the easiest way to set them in our direction.

So while Pinochet may have some faults and may not be the best representative of what Jow Forums generally wants (a government free of foreign control), he can be used to recruit young bright-eyes conservatives. I've convinced about 5-6 guys in college and a few girls that Pinochet was "right", and it was only done through dropping small matter-of-fact factoids in a funny way. People gravitate to that shit and eat it up, especially girls.

There was one particular instance where I knew this girl who was a devout Christian (still is), and believed most forms of violence were tragic etc, and that the Republicans were the party of peace and " the Democrats are the real racists" etc. She believed all life was equally important and that people should "respectfully disagree in a democract", etc. About 2 weeks after I began dropping a few nudges to her, I witnessed the following exchange
>normie 1: the trade war with china is dangerous though, we shouldn't be risking war with them
>normie 2: we wouldn't go to war with china over tariffs, it's not like we're going to nuke them for it
>girl: and even if we did, who cares they're communists
Still pretty bluepilled, but you can exploit that sentiment in the future. Blogpost but hey not all university students are a lost cause

Chile still benefit from what he did, it has the best standard of living in SA and it's not even close

Totally /ourguy/. He perfected physical removal.

Acts like a communist
Looks like a communist
Kills marxist

Y
only closet commies hate him

exactly this
compare pinochet to all the other dictators of that time, he wins by a landslide.
i can't even start to imagine what could've been of us if we had got Pinochet instead of fucking videla

and he was a master of comedy too youtube.com/watch?v=eVIlQumxP5g

Mixed bag.
On the one hand, he physically removed commies and improved his nation to the point where it benefits from his policy to this very day.
On the other hand, he was backed and advised by the US gouvernment with the negative-income-tax memelord jew as his chief financial advisor.
Purists hate him, but overall he did alright.
The biggest accomplishment perhaps is that nobody cares to look at Chile politically anymore. It just works, and is best left alone that way.

Nope. Hans Hermann Hoppe is our guy.

So why he turned Chile into the most developed latin american country?

>A shithole thanks by Lula
>A shithole thanks by Beaner Peronism and now his current prez, the revival of that.

That's a question for the chicago boys.

yes but only because I made money

I for one thank my USA overlords for bringing us into a second world state. Politics are fucked up tho. Wish we had guns.

I don't really know that much about Chilean history, my country tried very hard to avoid anything with them for quite some time.

>Was he our guy? Y/N ?
To most extends; No. He is not our guy in the same way our panamenian commander Noriega is not /ourguy/. They both made some great political changes to their respective countries but on both ocassions they were on the verge of an economical crysis. Take a look at Venezuela, Maduro had pushed Chavism too far and had not been able to get rid of the parasites ot their political system, themselves included.
