Were in the scripture is it said that only adults get to be baptised? Children are still under the penalties of sin, user. And Catholicism also has the sacrament of confirmation which works as a sort of new baptism to confirm you in the faith.

I was reading somewhere in new testament that baptism was something that someone accepts, and that no child is born with sin, yet catholicism says that the child must be cleansed because fornication is sinful. Again, the sacrament of confirmation. Not even all the martyrs were baptised in water, they were only baptised in their own blood. The child is under the penalty of original sin, you have the duty to baptise him as soon as possible. The sacrament of confirmation is something that it is administered wel after the faithful has reached the age of reason.

this past year is when i first finally actually considered christianity after years of being a retarded athiest who claimed to know better than christians even though i never actually gave the new testament honest consideration. suffice it to say, jesus christ's words are true, they really are in a category of their own when compared to anything else i had studied.

If I could humbly offer an opinion as an extremly young member of the knights. Do not underestimate the benefits of a Catholic cofraternal organization in a secular world. While it is correct to say that some of the higher ups have made questionable decisions. The KoC by and large operate on a parish by parish basis. In my mind at least, it's worthwhile simply due to the benefits on a parish level. Though admittedly that may be in part be due to my council being abnormally active.
