I also rarely admire buildings by their own merit, I appriciate a lot more when they are grouped together to form towns cities etc. Saying that, my favorite architecture is probably Renaisance Italian, German half-timbered architecture and Austrian Neo-Renaissance/Gothic

Every single part of this Cathedral was custom made, and took dozens up dozens of years to create. Every single curve, every etch, all of it was made by skilled craftsmen laboriously with backbreaking work. To merely seek it in pixels on a screen is an insult. Go and visit it.
