You don't quite live in the dystopian police state the leaf and I do pal, you wouldn't believe how deep the paranoia is within any group or extreme right or extreme left that somebody is an infiltrator. See the government responses to the anti-nuclear guys, the IRA and probably at least a dozen white supremacist groups. Anything which could be remotely construed as harassment, a call for violence or racist (especially antisemetic) could and would be used against you these days.
