if you read the second article. it gets really suspicious that after the video went viral he contacted the authorities to help him figure it out. he knew he was busted / caught and/or etc type of stuff.
so I figure he's trying to prevent his life from being ruined and it appears to be a lie, but it could be true as well. find it super strange he didn't at least get 10 seconds or 15 seconds of the barnacle goose in pain or whatever at that point.
contacted authorities after it went viral in the second article I posted. really suspicious at that point and shared it privately between friends before it was leaked.
the club even banned him for it so it wasn't done by the clubs standards from the looks of it even to as well.
