medical cannabis is one of the best working medications for epilepsy, and it is legal in victoria now.
but it would literally cost me $5k per month to buy legally. (yes many medications and procedures, ambulance transport, etc is NOT FREE in australia, and actually costs astronomical amounts of money).

The problem with our NHS isn't the shitty service, it's the people using it and running it. People use the NHS for absolutely everything, and because no one's looking after themselves anymore it's crushing the service. Think about it:
>People are living longer than ever; people no longer drop dead at 70 like they used to, instead they are living into their 90s and sucking up a good 2 decades worth of resources and medicine to extend their lives through illnesses that previously would have finished them off. It's nice that grandpa is living longer, but not so great when you realise that everyone in his generation need the same cocktail of drugs and expensive treatments to live.
