I was a standard cuckservative Israel supporter from the Southeast until the 2016 election. Around 2014-15 I watched a lot of the anti-SJW sargon types on youtube. This introduced me to progressiveism. By the time of the election I was unsatisfied with the establishment, but did not particularly like Trump until I voted for him in the South Carolina primary. Up through the election I shilled endlessly, on reddit, on my campus, etc. I distinctly recall arguing with a black student on my college subreddit about an article calling for black only dorms. I thought it the strangest thing that I was arguing against segregation with a black guy. He said that there were cultural things that only other blacks could understand and that he always felt more comfortable around others of the same race. This didn't sink in until later. After the election I tried to be concilliatory with friends who were scared of Trump. I tried to explain the reason he won to them - I think the one video by Micheal Moore(of all people!) explained it best. Despite this, I lost many relationships that I had for years. Around this time I started browsing Jow Forums but was put off by the Nazi support. I started browsing more libertarian circles, particularly ancap ones and was introduced to Hans-Hermann Hoppe. Physical removal was a funny meme, but the idea that a society, even one without laws, could not sustain people who fundamentally disagreed with the basis of that society stuck with me. It was here I learned about the unite the right rally. (1/?)

The Dems used gay rights as a trojan horse to push trannies and other degenerates into the norm by creating the acronym "LGBT" and grouping all these things together. So if you're against trannies and degenerates they can strawman you by saying, "Why do you care if 2 men express their love for each other in private". Well, I don't, but that's very different than transvestites marching in the streets and trying to put children on HRT. I did not particularly like any of the parties involved with UTR. To paraphrase sargon, "If a crack in the earth swallowed them all, I wouldn't be too upset" But ultimately on some level I wanted to see the right win. I was scared when I saw the torchlight march. I was scared when I saw the events of the next day. I knew a seal had been broken in American politics that could not be undone. I still shilled boomer conservative talking points online after this, but I think I may have been simply trying to convince myself. At this point I began surfing here regularly, along with Jow Forums. There I learned about Rhodesia. I knew about the economic problems and hyperinflation in Zimbabwe, but finding out it had once been a breadbasket country and then destroyed and the history of it buried infuriated and scared me. If they would do this to Rhodesia and memoryhole it, what would they do to us? At this point I began dealing more with edgy natsoc memes. I listened to William Pierce and Rockwell. I briefly considered joining IE. (thankfully I didn't) Summer of 2018 I took a hiatus from Jow Forums as I moved to a different town. This seemed to cool me off a bit. I began reading more of the American founding fathers and listened to some critiques of democracy from people who were a bit more coolheaded than Jow Forums. I decided that a return to the founders republic was probably a better choice, though I certainly don't have the revulsion to monarchists or fascists I would've had 3 years ago.
I think this story is similar to many here, give or take a few details, and perhaps their conclusions are different, but I think the emotional ride has been a collective thing, one that can be evidenced by the timeline of memes produced on this site. I find this idea fascinating and I've attempted to maintain an archive of sorts to document this cultural phenomena for posterity.

I've always been right-wing, but my first real redpill was when I visited Germany in college. My group decided to go visit Dachau for some damn reason, and unfortunately (for me) I'm a real sucker for museums, so I read every plaque and display, and look at ever exhibit for a long time. It wasn't long before I noticed that EVERYTHING there was a reproduction. The only original pieces were the foundations for the barracks, perimeter walls and another small building. This struck me because in all of the other museums I went to (and there were a lot) German autism demanded that every little piece have a description of where it came from, who it came from, and how they know it's real. But the "artifacts" in display cases in Dachau were reproductions; and most of them were even labeled that way. A memoir describing the torture that went on there? It's a reproduction, but don't worry goy, it really happened. Just trust me.

The entire time I could hear tour guides saying how 800 gorillion or so innocent chosen ones were gassed to death here, and then I went to the gas chamber, and there was only room for ~20 people inside. In the next room there was only one crematorium. I cam out thinking that none of this makes any sense, and that there wasn't any hard evidence for any of what they claimed happened. I was a libertarian. I still am but I slowly realized that you can't have libertarianism in a multiethnic/cultural society. And even if you did have a homogeneous society, the mob is still too stupid to thrive in a libertarian environment.
At that point I didn't necessarily believe in the Illuminati, but I knew that if the Illuminati existed then it would explain everything. So I tried to think of ways to fix society without addressing the Illuminati. For example I thought we could just form policies that sidestep them. Make them and their plans irrelevant.
Then I realized that there were people that are basically the Illuminati. They were Jews. And they were FUCKING EVERYWHERE. After learning how the subversive Jews behaves, I was able to tell who was and who wasn't one. I'd read an article, or watch a movie, and I'd think to myself "I bet they're fucking Jewish."
So I'd look them up on the internets and sure enough my jewdar was damn near flawless.
But the biggest eureka moment is once you find out about the Jews, you understand everything so much better. Current events and the past few hundred years of history make so much more sense. The Jews are the missing puzzle piece that brings it all together.
And you want to tell people, you want to scream it from the rooftops. But you can't, because you know how it would sound to their naive innocent ears. It's almost impossible to redpill another person on the JQ. They have to do it themselves when they're ready.
