When was the last time time tech really wowed you?
Is it me or is it possible that all the diversity hiring in Silicon Valley has shattered the meritocracy there, ultimately leading to an innovation drought.
Take apples new iPhone 11 it looks like a joke render ffs. What are your thoughts?
Couldn't agree more. It's just boring iterative upgrades.
Levi Hernandez
I'm unironically getting the new Iphone. I'm tired af with androids. My samsung S7 edge is and always has been a laggy pos.
Tyler Garcia
The triple camera looks ugly.
Joshua Moore
I still have my galaxy S5 in 99% shape. Changing phones all the time is for fags. They all do the same thing.
Wyatt Carter
>My samsung S7 edge is and always has been a laggy pos. Reinstall OS?
Brandon Lewis
When I got my first smart phone it was a pretty big deal.
Dylan Sanchez
I’m not actually bashing what they have done. It is a slightly better iteration but I feel that maybe the diversity drive has hurt tech and maybe even gaming.
Christian Butler
>america >meritocracy wrong
Anthony Thompson
This shit looks like religious cult.
Josiah Myers
Maybe cheap and plentiful SSDs. That really makes a noticeable difference for the daily experience, whether it's an old clunker or something new and fancy.
Adam Myers
Same here. S5 in mint condition. I always use tough cases like otterbox. Screen doesn't even have a scratch. It works just fine. I don't plan on getting a new phone any time soon.
Nathaniel Lopez
>boring iterative upgrades exactly this
Liam Turner
The last time any tech wowed me was the original Wii and it's motion controls. Yeah, other consoles going back to the NES had certain motion controls, but the Wii really wowed me at the time. Everything else has been meh.
You idiots actually carry shit like this around with you? A GPS tracking device with a microphone and cameras that can be remote activated. You carry something like this, and you consider yourselves "red-pilled"?
Computers, airplanes, smartphones, cars, motorcycles, public transportation, clothing, food, healthcare, civil engineering... it's just the same old bullshit polished to look new. In some cases progress stopped near the 60's. Enjoy humanity past its peak.
Ian Thomas
Yeah my GF was complaining about her 10 year old apple laptop getting slow. I installed a 256 GB SSD and she is so happy. All she uses it for is web browsing so it is plenty powerful for her needs. It boots up like 10x faster than it did with the old HD.
Lucas Nguyen
The fuck is with all the cameras? It's like they're taking the Gillette approach
> Muh 5 blades.
As for your question, I can't even remember the last time I was wowed. Probably when I upgraded my graphics card.
Henry Hughes
what is the purpose of the extra lenses? i feel like its just to imply technical sophistication
Liam Reyes
Lul I'm still using my iphone 7 wont change it anytime soon
William Garcia
Having owned multiple android and iOS devices I can say with out a doubt iOS is miles better, mainly for reasons like not needing to do a clean install every year.
Christopher Bailey
4DChan “see in all colours”
Blake Fisher
holy shit that looks like crap lmfao.
yeah I think the dieversity hiring is really starting to have ramifications at this point.
>737max crashes >shit tier tech innovations >millitary tech unchanged since late 20th century
It seems like tech in general peaked around 2013.
Leo Hill
I think about this daily and it bugs me.
Caleb Jackson
Analyst's Notebook. If only you faggots could know what I have seen.
Wyatt Campbell
last time I was wowed was when I went from using a PSP as my mobile browser to an Ipad 1 in 2010.
Ayden Cook
I had my sasmsung juke for 7 years before my s5. Those are the only two phones I've ever had. Thinking of going landline 1980's style if it breaks.
Landon Roberts
The Samsung S7 line really impressed me. It has magnets inside of it to mimic credit cards, so you can virtually use any card reader regardless whether it has some meme pay app software. Plus it was water and dust proof standard, first amongst the major carriers
Jonathan Sanders
They're also great for high powered stuff. It's slower and more expensive than RAM, but a lot faster than having to go out to a big old RAID array. It really fills a valuable slot as kind of a cache when random access speed is important.
Luis Gonzalez
Playstation 2. That was the last time I looked at tech like whoa.
Christian Reed
I have never had to do a clean install on my S5 and it runs fine. Just don't fill it with tons of bloatware and retarded apps that run in the background. I disable everything so it can't even update in the background etc.
Kevin Garcia
The new ad on YouTube has comments disabled, probably because it was full of insane looking clown world niggers and horrible music. The phone has eyes, and they played that up in the edit, basically implying that it is watching you. They're not even trying to hide it at this point
David Johnson
You’re ugly kike shill
Camden Roberts
gtfo with your fake news boomer
Anthony Lopez
Let’s push more diversity in Silicon Valley to the point it crumbles.
Blake Nelson
Shitskins have reverse midas touch. Everything they touch turns to shit. user is right. Diversity hires collapse civilizations.
I have been neet for 6 months. Ready to holocaust anytime.
It allows them to get some of the benefits of an adjustable lenses like you would have on a DSLR without needing to have large bulky moving parts. It also allows for better depth perception. 1st is wide angle 2nd is standard 3rd is 2x zoom
Elijah Sanchez
Imagine being useless and shallow child who thinks iOS is better. Forced bloatware to use, no SIM card expansion, shitty Adobe compatibility, horrible file management all on a platform that is overpriced to fuck
Aiden Wilson
This. I don't really care much for aps or smart phones, in 10 years ive been using them i only download 2 or 3 apps aside from the stock aps the phone comes with. People's phones getting slow and shitty is their own doing. I've had 2 samsungs my whole life and they both work just as fast as the day i first turned them on. I only replaced the 1st one because i left it outside in the rain, and the 2nd one was refurbished and 3 generations old and still runs as fast as new.
Ian Perry
Unironically, the doors at my work that appear to close automatically when there is persistent loud noise.
This is genius. I got goosebumps when they shut to block out the noise from someone drilling.
Cooper Anderson
iOS and macOS are impressive OSes miles beyond Windows and Android, too bad it only runs on homosexual overpriced hardware. Android is so bloated it only "feels" decent now after insane tweaking and absurdly overpowered hardware on cellphones.
Logan Allen
You literally cannot even drag and drop files to the iPhone. I use Google drive for client files, and you can't even download your own files. If you want to take a photo from Google drive to your iPhone camera roll, you have to first save it to the iOS file browser, then find it in the file app, then save. That was the last straw for me with the only iPhone I ever owned. Fuck them
Ryder Brown
You forget the fucking ceo of Apple was Syrian and you’re complaining about diversity in a fucking tech environment.
S5 as well in otterbox. Just installed a new battery.
Jace Morgan
Google "Magnetic Secure Transmission." If only we werent brainlets, such a simple patent would result in hundreds of millions as it did for some startup
Gavin Miller
He was half Syrian, raised by a white couple in the suburbs of Palo Alto. Fag.
I rarely use Apple stuff, but I have to say the last few times I did left me unimpressed about compatibility and feeling like I was stuck on a Microsoft plantation or something. Not a good move in my opinion for a company that saw the wisdom of moving to BSD. There's not really much of a good reason why things should be easier on my bog standard linux box than on a mac.
Luis Smith
apple insider here this is a leaked photo of the new iPhone 12 pro selfie stick
Known problem with Samsung devices during that period. The storage breaks down rather quickly due to write limits. Was actually an industry wide problem. Probably done purposely.
Cooper Ramirez
If you post on this website the FBI already knows plenty about you. >inb4: muhh 7 proxies
Asher Foster
>When was the last time time tech really wowed you? 3DFX Voodoo 2 12mb
Angel Long
Being able to quick charge the iPhoneX using the “popcorn” setting of the microwave was pretty fucking rad.
The focus nowadays is entirely on finding better and better ways to serve people ads and ways to make them keep consuming products.
Colton Barnes
But stop shilling your shit, there is nothing wrong with diversity as long is it offers something. But pol has nazi supporting(I love the memes but) retards on it. Also you’re the fag kek.
Why are there three cams anyway? O could understand two, to film 3D video, but three is pointless.
David Harris
It looks like a lotus flower and creeps me out a little. Somebody should shop that lens trio onto a photo of a person’s arm. It would creep a lot of people out.
Why is each lens individually raised as opposed to the flat look that the prior phone has? They’re part of the glass on the back, not a separate part. If the glass breaks your camera is fucked.
Post-Steve Jobs Apple sucks. They’ve been going downhill for years. I bought a retina macbook pro, the first one, in 2012. Produced while he was alive but released after he died. Surprisingly it’s still supported. But it wasn’t until less than two years ago that they made a macbook that was 2x better than it in specs. They used to do this annually. It took them over five years. It’s still a decent computer too, better than my new Lenovo work laptop in nearly all benchmarks. But this new phone is bleh. Camera might be better but it’s ugly and nothing else is really improved over last years model. Which was barely an improvement over the X except they made a larger size one. Apple is lost
Christian Hill
simply increasing the likelihood of being able to monitor you >the way my hand rests on my single camera phone, my finger always blocks the camera
Justin Campbell
Computers and video graphics progress was astounding up until about 2010 or so. Imagine processors literally doubling in speed every year. Imagine graphics going from monochrome or four color moving blocks to lifelike real time rendering on consoles in the course of 25 years. Somewhere after 2009, probably a little earlier, all progress went from exponential to incremental. The difference in quality between your average PS1, PS2, and PS3 games was amazing. The difference between your average PS3 game and PS4 game is hardly noticible.
>When was the last time time tech really wowed you? never Cell phones just pissed me off because they meant you could be contacted at any time. My friend's mom made full use of that and chewed him out whenever she wanted to call him and he didn't have his phone.
3D printing was as close as it got but the low integrity of products means it's only good for worthless plastic crap still.
James Cook
>If the glass breaks your camera is fucked. That's why.
Jayden Morgan
Oh look 3 times as many things for me to crack, scratch, or otherwise break as I clumbsily drop my shit on the floor six times a day or crunch it against something in my pocket
Zachary Wilson
You probably don't
Brandon Torres
I know the new samsung galaxy will have a stupid good camera. But thats not really much of a wow factor aside from the fact it'll film better than my £2000 dslr
Carter Cox
You can change animation speeds to double and it'll look faster too friend.
Robert Peterson
I couldn't imagine the things our people would be doing right now if there was zero conflict between nations and races. Seems the only way to achieve interstellar space travel would be to have a homogeneous Earth. A planet for only our race of people to focus on the greater good and development to help further ourselves, technologically speaking.... Imagine not having conflicts because we believe in the same ideals and concepts, with like minded behaviors. Imagine not having to worry about traveling across the planet because no matter where you were, there would still be people like you, instead of some low IQ monkey hybrid, pretending to be like you by wearing clothes.
Regardless I'm enjoying the upgrade from an Iphone 6s to the S10e, worth the cash.
no its exactly what they wanted >phone cameras and cameras in general are as good quality as you want. digital technology is as advanced as it ever pretty much will be, so they have turned it into what they want now. filling it with useless hires, dikes, sjws and all of that shit.
the next iphone will have the dialator 9000 on it, >checkem
consumers need to realize that the innovation in tech (like smart phones) is NOT going to come in the form of new hardware. All major smartphone brands use all the same parts suppliers (mostly Chinese). It will always be software. New phones aren't getting better cameras, they are getting better photo processing software. New phones aren't getting better battery life because of new battery technology. Newer phones last longer because of better software efficiency.
Bentley Harris
It been a while. I've had a galaxy s8+ for 2 years now and besides a decrease in battery life it's still chugging a long fine. Will probably through a new battery in at some point and run it into the ground.
Jackson Hughes
I had this same phone and had lots of stability issues as well. Wasn’t worth troubleshooting. I got an iPhoneX when the new XR or XS line came out, it’s plenty
Nolan Carter
128 cores?
Jason Bell
user the benefits of using it for advancing our cause by posting here and communication in real situations far outweigh the worry of someone tracking you down with it
Whether you have a cell phone on you 24/7 or not - if the NSA for example wanted to find you. Trust me, they would.
Jaxson Phillips

Anthony Nelson
this. Zoomers will never know what it was like growing up in the 2000s going from dial up to broadband, PS1 to PS3, Xbox to 360, brick phones to Iphone and Ipad.
Hudson Sullivan
That's pretty dank, really. Single and dual CPU mobos are usually the right price point, and now you can get more cores with less redundant parts and slow interconnects. I don't know what the hell consumers are supposed to get out of that but it's great for large scale number crunching.
Nathan James
Resource management, stability and overall quality of user experience are far more important pieces of the puzzle than tech spec geek shit.
There’s a reason they can charge more for it and people gladly pay. They like them.
Zachary Jackson
>ake apples new iPhone 11 it looks like a joke render ffs. >What are your thoughts? HONK HONK
You can’t. Arnold’s old steroid stacks have been publicized. Google it, lot of interesting stuff has been learned over the years and that’s why people in pro bodybuilding are more “massive” now
Landon Stewart
The iOS file system is embarrassing
Just try saving a local PDF to your phone and then finding it while connected to your computer
Can’t do it
Parker Kelly
>There’s a reason they can charge more for it and people gladly pay. They like them.
normies are nothing more than sheep who do what ads tell them to do.
William Thompson
>Take apples new iPhone 11 it looks like a joke render ffs.
Um, I think you're missing the three cameras.
David Rodriguez
cheap HP laptops >>>>>>>>>> any modern apple jew shit.
Thomas Hernandez
I think we're witnessing Apple's final decline. The revolutionary tech era is over, everything they make is a gimmick, and none of it is useful. This is a product that was made by burnt out liberals who are mad that a woman isn't President. Still collecting dividends from electing Trump.
