Why do europoors despise american homes?

I'd rather live in an american ply wood house than in apartment blocks. Why is there so much hate towards American architecture?

Noone hates US homes, where do you see that?
No, that autism german that posts McMansions with cringey captions doesn't represent all of Europe.

Why don’t Americans build houses out of proper timber anymore?

I grew up in a house that turned 100 years old by the time I started grade 9 and although it did need some renovation and upgrading it was only to modernize the wiring and to add better insulation and more pipes for extra bathrooms the structure of the house itself is all original and I would be willing to bet it could last another hundred years. These modern pressboard houses couldn’t even last half that time

I know that “they don’t build em like they used to *sip*” is a boomer meme but with houses it’s entirely true

Not everyone is a rromanian.

It's paid shilling to force the meme that home ownership is bad. The idea of a nation of renters is a cancerous one and anyone who pushes it needs to be drug out into the street and shot.

tin shacks > commie blocks > euro tenements > amerishart suburban plywood colonies > log cabins > traditional euro homes

We share with some niggers, you are a nigger country.

I guess p*lish shitblocks must be superior.

how's the insulation of these homes? looks frosty in winter

There is no winter there...

It's continental climate, they have a winter. The insulation is probably foam/fiberglass... not the greatest, but if the fireplaces haven't been closed up, I mean... people don't go cold in America much unless they're dumb niggers.

There were slaves in all 13 colonies originally, but that definitely is the South where the winters are usually mild except maybe in sometimes in the mountains in Tennessee and Kentucky.

aah, you silly americanized gypo.

I didn't say I don't like European traditional houses.
In France I only been to Vendée and loved it.

I spent time in rural Crete this summer and the difference between the old style stone houses of Χαμεζη and most wooden shitboxes in Southern California is night and day

Commie blocks if are well mantained are great, same as mutt houses, since the fall of the urss romania hasnt maintained them, most polish comie blocks have been remodelated and are actually quite good

You don't have to imagine. You just wait for it to turn into a north African traditional village.

Then understand that what you're showing isn't what most europoor get to live in.

resuming villageposting.

You're right, in Romania most are getting decrepit. And I can get that some can be real comfy. I stayed in one in Sweden and enjoyed it, but I still think that even the best of them are suited more for students and early career life than for family life. Plus I like land and gardening.

Europeans have been spoon-fed this lie that Americans are fat idiots, and only live in suburbia because they are fat and lazy.

Truth is most Europeans live like shit compared to the American middleclass.

You mean renovated and they remain as noisy as they were. They only get double glass, central heating and some paint on the outside.

Totally agree.

You'll live better in Europe if you're poor, working class, or middle class. The middle class here works too much even if they appear to be "comfortable".

Look, we get it, French architecture is top tier. You should focus on maintaining it, stop immigration (including from Romania) and stop building commie blocks. I prefer my home town to les Bosquettes any time.

No matter what you write here Europoors, America is the best country on Earth.
Europoors who love living in a grey brick flat and defend this as comfy go suck a commie dick.

This

You live there?

sucks to live in an open air concentration camp

at least your fossils are pretty
