Whenever people talk about the most liberal parts of the country people always talk about NY and CA. But outside of NYC, is New York State culturally extremely liberal or not. Asking for Long Island and Upstate anons?

Browns aside, Long Island is divided between a working and middle class who are very conservative and an upper middle / upper class who are liberal. Fun fact, LI is still one of the most segregated places in the US; there are plenty of 95% white, fairly affluent neighborhoods within an hour's commute to the city, which is unheard of most everywhere

Albany is fairly leftist, the Catskills mountain region is sometimes called “the Jewish alps” due to mostly wealthy Jewish city people owning their get-away homes there. Update NY has a population of about 5M, the majority of which are white and conservative.
Long Island has a population of about 6M which is split about 50/50 conservative and liberal.
The city has a population of 8M, of which the overwhelming majority is liberal.
If Westchester county and lower were their own state, Update would be a reliable Republican stronghold, unfortunately it would only be 3 or 4 congressmen.

Ah most of the nigs in my town would up dropping out, or they were really good at basketball or football and the school graduated them so they could get the prestige of having a scholarship student - meanwhile the same star athlete would sell drugs right across from the side of the school behind the Walbaums after class was out.
