To make people believe that blacks make up far more than 13% of the population. Ask a random person who hasn’t looked up the demographic data and they’ll tell you they think blacks are around 50%. Most likely it’s done as part of the campaign to downplay black crime. If people think blacks are half the population they won’t be so upset at them committing half of the crime.

I went on a trip last summer and saw actual tv for the first time in most ten years. The commercials are completely random in the consumer they target, and take up half of the air time of a show. Sometimes after a break, the show would come on, and then after only 45 seconds, a single commercial would cut on again. I couldn’t concentrate on the show. I felt myself get as stupid in 3o minutes as would with six hours of Netflix and 4 beers. No tv for my kids.

Marketing probably. African americans and women as a group tend to spend more on goods than other demographics, so while white individuals make up more of a entire group of people, they tend to conserve wealth and purchase items of value (ie, not spend as much) while other groups tend to purchase more items of status symbols and luxury goods.

So, while White males are, for example, 50% of a demographic, they spend comparatively the same as about 15-20% demographic of blacks, and 15% of women. (these are just random numbers, but women do make up about 80% of discretionary purchases).

Therefore, it is more cost efficient to include a marketing campaign where the advertisement has Black Males and females rather than white males. Since black males tend to purchase items that scream luxury (even if they cannot afford it), and white women are seen as status symbols by many black males, subconsciously they will try to obtain that product. Women are a highly emotional, easily targeted group and susceptible to marketing moreso than your average NPC, and as such having a white woman pairing indicates feelings of envy among black females and attempting to purchase the same product to maintain competitive advantage with the white woman in the advertisement.

Furthermore, white males have the least amount of tribal instincts and are more susceptible to be market in ideas and principles rather than tribal or ingroup loyalties, so that 50% demographic spending counted earlier would not be hit as hard.

Therefore, the White woman black man pairing creates the best economic marketing to hit a broad audience with your product. Black female white male isn't attractive, since white women do not feel as much or any jealousy from the pairing, alienates black males from considering your product (due to higher tribal loyalty and feelings of envy and inferiority), and only can partially capture non-predjudicial white males and maybe the black female demographic (which does not have enough money compared to the white female demographic due to lower individual net worth and lower overall familial wealth).

It all always comes down to money. No creed or wisdom or faith can compare with businesses, as all follow Mammon in one way or another.
