Farrakhan for example will often quote Biblical scripture despite being a Muslim. He will also sometimes talk about how "God gave his only begotten son" (a belief strongly rejected by Muslims) and preach like a card-carrying Christian. He talks about the Prophets in the context and description of how a Christian would and also does talks in churches.
I also rarely ever hear Farrakhan talking about the Prophet Muhammad but he will talk a lot about Elijah Muhammad.
Are the Nation of Islam only Muslims by title? Do they follow any of the actual pillars of Islam at all?
I know that, but Louis Farrakhan seems to believe that Jesus was crucified on the cross (which is not accepted by Muslims) and in his talks he references Jesus being the son of God explicitly and quotes passages pertaining to it.

We believe in all the scriptures and prophets. The bible isn't exclusive to Christians. It doesn't say it anywhere. Abraham was not a Christian nor was Jesus. That is an invention of white folk. The religion Abraham and all others followed was total submission to the will of God. No one can dispute that. Show me one verse where Jesus says I'm a Christian.

Farrakhan is that Jesus spoken of in the bible that everywhere he goes, the masses would follow. Jesus 2000 years ago didn't pull masses. Farrakhan speaks truth to power like the sign of Jesus of old. Jesus of old had a beef with the Jews, so does Farrakhan today. Elijah Muhammad was poor in speech and so was Moses. Moses need Aaron, and Elijah need Farrakhan to lead a people out of bondage after 400 years (just like in Egypt). Bible teaches of a Wheel and Elijah revealed the mother wheel. A cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night... We say Elijah is on the wheel since 1975 and the bible says Elijah was taken up by a whirlwind. Elijah also gave Elisha a doulbe portion of his spirit. Look at Farrkahan, he took the Temple that was reduced to nothing after the departure of Elijah Muhammad and rose the temple 3 years later. The Nation of Islam has been rebuilt by Farrkhan (Al-Furqan)

I know that durr but FARRAKHAN HAS EXPLICITLY SAID IN HIS TALKS THAT JESUS WAS GOD'S SON and quoted Bible passages such as John 3:16. How many times do i have to explain it.
I already know how Islam views Jesus. My point is that Farrakhan and NOI does NOT view Jesus in the same way as regular Muslims.

Jesus didn't die on the cross. It's symbolic. Many Muslims have lost the way. Muhammad PBUH said 3 generations after him would not be of him. If islam was on the right path, there would be no confusion in the islamic world, nor would the Self Guided one need to come to guide all on to the straight path.

Btw, I am not against Farrakhan and the NOI and i agree with a lot of what he has said before but i was seeking some clarity on exactly what the NOI believes within the context of traditional Islam as a lot of what i have heard in talks doesn't sound like *typical* Islam to me and I have also heard Muslims in the UK saying that the NOI is not Islam and that they are kaffirs. Abdur Raheem Green for example says that the NOI are kaffirs and that NOI is a cult and "not real Islam".
