However I would argue that the reason we have yet to see a satisfactory style coalesce insofar as a technological and classic architectural is concerned, is simply because architecture has so heavily rejected anything associated with the past.
Once people start taking a crack at it and stepping away from the garish futurism I think we'll see that new standard develop
