he took control of a country that was prosperous, safe, wealthy and happy. he left a country that was in the death grip of a financial crisis, mired if what would be come the longest war in the it's history, with a population still traumatized by the worst attack on it's soil ever. he trampled the constitution with the patriot act and absolutely was at least complicit in the 911 attacks themselves, which means he most likely guilty of treason.
I can't think of any president that comes close to his track record of destruction and poverty
