Millennials were hardcore shilled to at every level of development that College was the only valid path in life. Zoomers are getting the same treatment but I feel like it is sticking less, hard to buy the same lie when you can just look over at how a generation of college educated Millennials turned out.

27 now and got into plumbing almost 3 years ago. Many guys my age have started working with me, only to discover that using a shovel is beyond what they are capable of. Most of the guys i work with are in there 40-50s, with some as old as 75.

Amazon pays $15/hr and they don't require you to endanger your health, or pressure you to do shady shit that breaks all kinds of OSHA regulations
all the construction outfits around me are half-drunk genXers that want strong adult helpers for $10/hr
then they complain about not being able to find anyone
