Shane is better off not being on that gay show. At this point people are so bored with SNL and it's safe, sterile comedy that being fired is probably better for your career than being a cast member, at least among real fans of real comedy that is risky, unnerving, and defiant of status quo. Most people can't even name a cast member from that show but everyone remembers the old cast members who were willing to take risks for the sake of art. The most memorable and iconic comedians aren't the ones who were careful not to go to far. Mel Brooks made a whole career out of racism, sexism, dick jokes, shit jokes, etc and he'll go down in history as one of the funniest film makers who ever lived, assuming the SJWs don't manage to have all his old films "remastered" to remove all the nigger jokes after he dies.
