Why do people travel to america when the country has no history? Do you go there to see grey blocks and restaurant chains?
Why do people travel to america when the country has no history...
Why do you spam slide threads via proxy, kike?
Same reason you visit a zoo.
Yeah America is pretty new
Shit time is a trip yo
i'm not a kike, why are you so angry you mutt? I guess the truth hurts
It has nice scenery. Apart from that it's a cultural wasteland
I donno either. Our building style is shit, "whatever is cheapest" and is literally built to be torn down later.
I like America because there are large parts where you can go and there's not another human being for 20 miles, and it looks pretty much the same as it did 300 years ago
Well yeah the country isn't even 300 years old yet.
The US is almost 100 years older than italy tho
You can read about history in books. The only way to experience contemporary culture of others is to go to it.
Not really the point
This
I have never visited the US but saying it has no history is not true. Not only ancient history is history. In the US you have places of the first settlements, revolution and civil war history, wild west, depression era, history of the entertainment sector (old Hollywood), and much more.
Whats more is, you have this rich culture that is a mixture of different European influences, adapted to the land it settled in, like the Appalachian culture and folklore, the beautiful south, and so on. And, for me, it's the diverse nature that is a main attraction. I would love to travel the US and I wouldn't know where to start.
That fountain is from like the mid-18th century. We have shit older than it.
And this is fucking stupid. "Wow, why don't you have millennia of history in what until a couple centuries ago was a desolate wasteland?" because it was an empty wasteland until near on the 16th century. You fucking retard.
Bullshit. You like visiting tiny baby countries because you're light in the ass and can't afford to cross a country like a real man.
True
>not wanting to witness the complex dynamic of a rapidly developing culture
>want just look at things that don't change and are bolted down by ossified behavioral patterns
of course, there are thousands of years of human history in the US.
ignorant japs just don't realize it.
I'm not into history or museums or any of that shit when I am travelling. Am into natural scenery, nightlife, food, etc.
I have been to all 50 states. Admittedly, most of them are boring as fuck. Overall the US is a great travel destination, however.
Britain has like one of the richest history in Europe, fuck I’m not even entertain the idea of going. I’d rather go to burger land and enjoy some over sized pizza and shitty tasting beer than wandering around like a faggot in that grey looking miserable shittholew
Go to any national park in the US, it is absolutely filled with chinks and other foreigners
Wtf america should be older
>no history
(You)
nations and people are not the same thing
Exactly. Went back in Boston in 2014. There a lot of history down there.
Im English and I agree with this.
Most foreign cunts dont understand what they are looking at anyway. Its the result of centuries of doing things in our own weird way.
And we are full up as a country with far too many people already.
America is pretty old but before the white man arrived the natives had pretty much destroyed all life on the North American continent except Buffalo.
It is indeed a magnificent pile of dirt.
>the country has no history
of getting bombed on
1. National Parks (unprecedented in world history until the USA invented them)
2. History (400-150 years of historic colonial and native American sites, famous buildings and places, and museum exhibits.)
3. Amusement parks/leisure sites (beaches, casinos, restaurants, spas.)
4. Culture (Music, Sports, Broadway, Museums)
5. Multiple distinct regional cultures (New England, NYC/NJ region, Pennsylvania, Delmarva, Beltway, Midwest, Tidewater, Deep South, Florida, Gulf Coast, Appalachia, Great Lakes, Texas, Southwest, California, Great Plains, Big Sky, Rocky Mountains, California, Cascadia, High Desert, Salt Lake)
Examples:
>NYC: Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero, Arts/history museums, food, music, Broadway, sports, Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania Dutch Country, ethnic neighborhoods (like Chinatown, Little Italy, Koreatown, Harlem)
>DC: Smithsonian museums, government sites, Civil War battlefields, top tier parks and restaurants
>Philly: USA History sites, unique culture and food, always sunny
>California: Hollywood, Golden Gate Park, Redwoods, Beaches, Silicon Valley, top tier National Parks
>New Orleans: Unique culture, food, natural attractions.
Plebs can't appreciate anything.
If you visit the US, my recommendation would be to see the mountain ranges, the Grand Canyon, the Great Lakes, the Mississippi River, etc. The US is culturally and architecturally destitute, but it has some great nature. But yeah, most tourists go to New York City to see the exact same corporate architecture they could find in their own major cities.
>I'm not very interested in the USA
>Worst part of JoJo is Vento Aureo
>Best part of JoJo is Steel Ball Run which took place in the USA during the last decade of the 19th century
What did Araki mean by this?
Most thots and plastic titis per cápita.
no to mention these relics are just that- relics. Do people really think modern france can reproduce notre dame? lol, history indeed.
>1. National Parks (unprecedented in world history until the USA invented them)
Your scenery is pretty shit desu, been there and it's nothing compared to what you find in the Mediterranean or Japan.
>2. History (400-150 years of historic colonial and native American sites, famous buildings and places, and museum exhibits.)
Oh yeah let me travel thousands of kilometres to go look at this "monument" that's younger than my house when I could just go to Italy.
>3. Amusement parks/leisure sites (beaches, casinos, restaurants, spas.)
People don't fucking go on vacation to see McDonalds and casinos, Jesus Christ.
>4. Culture (Music, Sports, Broadway, Museums)
Jewish cancer, infested with negro worship, a blight on the world.
>5. Multiple distinct regional cultures
The only people who genuinely think this are Burgoids without a passport who never travelled outside of their third world country so they think that differences between states are amazing.
>Why do people travel to america
sexual trips of course my dear english teacher
Then US has got Europe beat in terms of natural scenery. Not even close. Only been to cities in Japan, so not sure how they fare.
>Your scenery is pretty shit desu
lol this moron visited orlando and thinks nothing in the US is comparable to the med or japan
>go look at this "monument" that's younger than my house
Why do you have to lie like that? Does it make you feel better about people actually wanting to travel to the US over your shithole? I mean fuck, you said yourself that you came here.
>People don't fucking go on vacation to see McDonalds and casinos, Jesus Christ.
They do though. You obviously came here to see disney (I can tell bc you're a faggot) and that's not much different from a spectacle like vegas.
>Jewish cancer, infested with negro worship, a blight on the world.
lol way to deflect. Those are aspects of culture, like it or not.
>The only people who genuinely think this are Burgoids without a passport
coming from the moron who thinks no part of the US is comparable to the med or japan. you're obviously deeply ignorant, yet very opinionated. Basically you've projected your faults unto Americans for some reason.
As much as you like your memes, the US isn't entirely made up of interstate rest areas.
kek

If there were really crazy ancient tunes anywhere the Indians wouldn’t want you to know where they were and the guy wouldn’t want you there either.
1. Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Yosemite, Niagara Falls, Everglades | World-tier amazing stuff.
2. Jamestown settlement, Gettysburg, old Boston, French Quarter, National Mall, lower Manhattan | As much history as anything in Northern Europe
3. Disneyworld, South Beach, Hawaii, Aspen, Las Vegas | It's only the literal most popular place on Earth
>4. implying you don't want to see a Broadway matinee and enjoy a big slice of pizza before going to a Yankees game
5. I've only been to 15 countries and 44 states, so I guess I might not know as much as you
A challenger approaches
>Why do people travel to america?
To get shot by some nigger
This.
I went once for the keks, you're a retard if you went there for anything historical
because we have roller coasters and barbecues
I’ve been to 20 countries and 33 states and my favorite place in the world to go visit is Maine. The next state over from where I live.
This does happen fairly often. Foreigners dont know that the whole "blacks are unsafe around whites bc racism" things is actually the exact opposite. Idk I guess they just want to assume the worst of us or something and just go trusting niggers
Why Maine? Scenery? Whiteness?
Rome, Berlin, Vienna, Machu Picchu, Pompeii, Paris, Jerusalem, London are all fun to experience, but at the end of the day, I'd rather spend a day in NYC.
I'd rather go back to costa rica, there's fewer spics.
>Jerusalem
>Let's go check the good ol' New York Times
Found the jew
They did have the best animation back in the day.
I went to america to shoot guns
I went to Disneyland Florida as a young kid (25 years ago maybe) and the tour guide became very serious when he said dont go to the black areas.
I still remember it clearly because the tour guide suddenly became very serious. The tone changed from carefree fun and jokes to 'I dont want any of you guys to die as a result of this holiday'.
>Literally the greatest city in the history of earth
It’s one of the most naturally beautiful places on the planet and still has lots of unspoiled wilderness despite being on the east coast. The coast is rugged and beautiful, the inland forests and mountains are vast, and the people there are authentic. If you like outdoor activities and being left alone and unmolested to do as you please, Maine is as good as it gets. I’m also into colonial history so all of New England is really fascinating to me. Old England even more so but that’s another story. Check out “The Fort” by Bernard Cornwell If you are into history. It takes place in what is now Maine.
>Do people really think modern france can reproduce notre dame?
It cant though
Super comfy
It has more history than your country lmao.
Sorry people don't want to see two nuke holes in the ground, Ping.
I guess they'll have to be satisfied seeing the only space agency to put a man on the moon.
the whole "never relax" thing isnt a joke. glad it made an impression on you
>country has no history
Ok retard. We essentially built the entire modern western world by ourselves, from scratch, in less than 200 years. Every country in the world has tried to imitate us to become successful themselves since the industrial revolution. Most things that were ever invented, were invented on american soil. We've been in tons of wars and won almost every single one of them, and the ones we didn't outright win mostly consisted of us just getting bored and leaving. In order to found our country, a bunch of farmers with ponytails rekt the army and navy of the world's largest superpower at the time and one of our founding documents was a letter telling the king of the world's largest superpower to straight up go fuck himself. The last time a country got us really mad we pretty much turned the entire landmass between Turkey and India into a target practice safari zone for bored recent highschool graduates for TWENTY YEARS. No history my ass.
Based.
Also, I hate feather nogs as much as the next Ohioan, but they built some cool shit.
The trick is to carry around a six-foot length of chain to counter their rusty straight razors, and call them by the name of female swimmers. Then you earn their respect and their vote.
Interesting, thanks user. If you come to Japan, there are many historical sites to see.
Imagine being this much of an ass blasted igloonigger.
Daily reminder: US feather niggers = best feather niggers. Aztecs and eskimos tongue my anus.
>Also, I hate feather nogs as much as the next Ohioan, but they built some cool shit.
What can you really build out of parts of a buffalo?
A nuclear reactor? Nah. A hospital? Nope. Just a big pile of bones.
New World's tourism potential is basically ecoturism and entertainment. No real relevant history.
what state is this in?
Isn't Disneyland in CA...?
>We built the modern world
And that's why it sucks... next!
K
You're lucky we even let your country exist at all. We have a doctrine stating that any country that fucks with you will die, but pretty much only because we don't want neighbors that are more complicated to control than you.
That one I believe is in Colorado, but there are similar sites in Arizona and New Mexico.
en.wikipedia.org
>Dating back more than 700 years, the dwelling is constructed of sandstone, wooden beams, and mortar.
>Cliff Palace was home to approximately 125 people, but was likely an important part of a larger community of sixty nearby pueblos.
I wouldn’t even know where to start in Japan but I know that I would like to see the countryside and less populated areas. Wintertime would be great. I remember watching the Nagano olympics as a kid and realizing that Japan was more than just Tokyo.
Pic related.
Thousands of tons of dirt moved across hundreds of miles using pre-Bronze Age technology
Thank you user
Yep. And Walt Disney World is in Florida. The bong is just being a dumbass.
They do have good architecture in your country, like the Municipal Building Atrium in Hartford Connecticut.
However I think the modern architecture and especially the culture needs a lot of fixing. And that's not even mentioning post modern architecture...
K
Great retort.
This shit again tojo?
Sauce?
Thats a paradox. How can it be a 'world' if its in Florida. Florida is only a small part of the world.
We have random shit like that with stone henge. Some niggers moved gigantic stones from one side of the country to the other with primitive ancient technology. Nobody knows why.
We are the country that invented the steam engine and the industrial process to manufacture steel. Putting some stones or dirt in a certain way isnt really impressive. It just makes me think they had a lot of free time on their hands.
The fossil record.
There used to be all sorts of awesome creatures like sabre tooth tigers in the North American continent before the 'natives' caused every major species except the buffalo to go extinct.
To live a better life than the 2nd world shithole that barely scraped its way out of being a 3rd wold shithole thanks to the West.
Not the world's biggest fan of the My Country Tis of Thee stuff but at least my US teachers still taught civics that way when I was growing up. I would have gotten myself expelled arguing with my libtard teachers about the Historic Atrocities and Oppression of the West because unless there's some standard of morality we're measuring against it's really hard to say whether contact with the West has been on the whole good or bad for where I was born. (On one hand, modern technology and medicine = pretty good; on the other, fucking communism and sjw nonsense = pretty awful.)
Guessing you don’t care about the history of the Native population then? Pearl Harbor might be more historical for you.
We also have great natural beauty - see pic for example
Japan is pure hype. All the real shrines and temples and castles were destroyed during the Meiji Restoration or during WW2 and the rebuilt versions are made with modern materials and turned into what are basically theme parks. You can get as much authentic Japanese flair in a Little Tokyo in the US or at Disneyworld as you can in Japanese cities. Even in the countryside people hype up the old school rural architecture but most of the buildings are boring post-war concrete construction, and the ones that do look old are mostly fake. I think people living in the 21st century don't know what countries like Japan or most of Western Europe looked like even as recently as WW2. Unrecognizable. The most annoying part of living in Japan for me was the historical sites, and I recommend any visitors to stay as far away as possible from those tourist trap moneysinks.
One thing the US actually has going for it is that the East Coast cities that do have history are so much newer that many more of their original buildings still stand. Who cares about a 2 thousand year old city if someone built a shopping mall on top of it?
I think it's fine for people to have their own individual preference. The nip is totally right, there's nothing in the USA over 400 years old. What historical monuments do we have that can compete with Europe or Asia? None. The most historical places I can think of are Harvard University, the liberty bell or some shitty Puebla out in New Mexico.
>muh steam engine
How many people did the steam engine put on the moon?
And I'm sorry you fried any sense of curiosity out of your brain with Talmudvision. But seeing prehistoric engineering like this is cool as shit.
You're welcome!
at least post Taos Pueblo
Japan is poo
Maine is a top tier state. My wife and I got married there.
Oh my fucking god kids, pack your bags we're going to see a massive pile of manure
I agree on that, there is a lot of stuff in the modern world that sucks...
