Yes, in theory. The problem is very few places can actually make good pizza. I think cheese is a superior food. Yes, pizza has higher highs, but it also has MUCH lower lows. A good block of cheese is good and available almost everywhere.

Valencian, Spanish Paella (it is from valencia, but the valencian one has some veggies in it that are just... trash), if you get this in spain 99% of the times you're getting trash quality Paella, so make your research before you decide to "try" it, it should take a fucklot of time to prepare this dish, literally hours, I guess, the cooks in restaurant have it already prepared and they give it a last touch before serving. But I insist the easiest thing is that you get shit tier quality paella and not the real deal. Good luck.

Gazpacho, this should be easy enough, eventhough good tomatoes really make a gazpacho shine. You could check the recipe, make sure it's the original one, it should be easy enough, but try to get good tomatoes, ones that are quiet juicy and not meaty. Fucking delicious, specially for summer, it is served cold, as in freezer cold.

If you go wherever along the mediterranean you'll find a lot of scammers and cheap food. They know you go to visit something other than their restaurant and you're never coming back. Now, with things like online reviews, not so much.
Still, in non-tourist areas the food in Italy is gorgeous. Still, the best pizza I've ever tasted was argentinian.
