The big drone swarm on the russian air base in syria was dealt with in two stages. The electronic warfare group successfully took over and landed about half the drones, and the other half were pantsir chow.
To be fair the ones used in syria were very crude using mostly civilian-tier home brew components. Civilian drones are very vulnerable to GPS spoofing and "return to home" exploits so a military electronic warfare team can toy with them at their leisure. The drones that hit the Saudis were a lot more advanced.
