I heard the FN contract M16A4's and M4's were above and beyond Colt. Then you have the SAW and 240 belt feds. They make great guns, I've always known that. Their Uzi barrels are better than ones from IMI and pretty sought after. It's just that 5.7 itself was basically a stupid idea from day one and I think they made the 5.7 pistol as a way to recoup some R&D money.
