I was an atheist most of my life. Started going to churches occasionally when I noticed they were the only ones doing anything to help the homeless in town. I did join a Protestant denomination, but I don't think it's all that important what church you go to. You'll learn a lot going to different churches, but I don't know which one gets you into heaven. The community of believers is what is important.
I opened my heart to God's love and truly accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior.
