Basically it just makes it to where you have to open the gun to reload, and then when you move you just take it off and use a normal mag release, iirc. I'm not 100% though since I live in Tejas.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of a 2 stage trigger over a 1 stage?

Personal preference for the trigger, but the two stage will let you take up the slack on the trigger before the break. I find the two stage very comfortable. As far as those grips vs an A2 the angle is a bit less severe.

Talk to me about optics for a 20" .308 DMR, is 12x enough magnification or should I be looking at 15x? 18x? I'll probably be shooting 600 yd max but I'd like to try stretching it further, maybe 800 yd...

Is a big lever charging handle the biggest spoiler for ease of use?
I just had to use a regular milspec handle with the tiny lever. It was awful.

Guy I work with is selling an AR10 he put together last year, basic PSA rifle with a 20" free float stainless barrel and M-Lock handguard that was $680 and a Bushnell 4.5-30x50 scope that was $880, prices before tax. Hardly used, he'd like to get $1,500 for it. Should I go for it?
