7.62 for 0-200yds
5.56 for 200-600yds

For stuffing them one by one into your feminine pooper? 7,62x39, to make your shameful squealing and stuttered responses more cute.

This:It depends what you're doing with it

5.45×39mm

neither, 7.62 x 51

5.56 because its primary native gun is not a potato

This user battles.

7,62x39 for hard, dirty work under 300m in closed environment with more stuff to hide behind.
.223 for more fancy work aronund 450m in open area. And for MOA chasing.

I prefer 7,62x51 and 5,45x39

.40 the FBI uses it

Depends on if you can legally shoot a durr or hog with 5.56 in your state.

If you can, I'd say 5.56 since its lighter and a little cheaper.

If you can't then 7.62 is more practical.

Real Fuckin' NATO.

>7.62x39

Because Arsenal slr-107 with alg trigger group and x3 primary arms scope

7.62x54R

Battle rifles are cheating.

And 7.62x39 for any barrel under 14.5", 5.56 for 18"+

Why don't they just make a 6.59x42 and have the best parts of both in one bullet?

5.56x45mm NATO
>cheap
>plentiful
>light so you can carry a great many
>good penetration due to ~3000fps
>many more reasons
It's simply a better round; if you want more punch, upgrade from an AR/AK to a BR.
>t. frmr 11b

This.

>good penetration due to ~3000fps
Don't listen to youtube lie

9x39 looks too much like a crayon, it's a choking hazard.

regardless of bullet choice 7,62x39 doesnt have many advantages. Barrier penetration yeah, kinda, but I wonder how often do you have the chance to shoot an enemy through something you can pen with 7,62 but not with 5.56? How can you even tell in the heat of the moment? I'd disregard it completely...

What else does it have maybe subsonics and maybe barrel life?

More power.

Better performance from shorter barrels, less likely to be deflected by foliage

The lighter one ofc

some company make snow flake 7.62x39 that is different from Commie load.

ahh yeah that is actually true

But 5.56 has better barrier penetration.
>7.62 dents 3/8" mild steel at 65 yards.
>5.56 penetrates 3/8" mild steel at 65 yards.

The barrel thing, I mean
