Tell me why .32 ACP isn’t the best cartridge.
Pro-tip: you can’t.
Any round that’s described as being for “Card table distances” is godly in my book

NOT A SOLDIERS GUN
Unreliable?!
FULL-LENGTH GUIDE ROD?!
It’s unreliable ladies and gents!

Explain your reasoning.
.380 is better.
Ironic considering .32ACP was a very typical military pistol in both world wars.
IMO the role of a sidearm was different. In WW1 and WW2, no one really expected to go into combat with a pistol, useful for motivating men to rush a trench, executing prisoners, partisans, and deserters, and looking good at dinner.
How about when youre not at a card tAble faggot?
>protip: you just got fucked nigger
>not bringing a card table with you everywhere
I HAVE THE HIGH GROUND
>.32 ACP
>About 220-240 Joules of muzzle energy
>9mm Parabellum
>At least 400, up to 600 Joules depending on load
That's why.
I love .32 ACP and .25 ACP, pocket guns are nice in sweltering 100 degree heat where fullsize is just not an option.
Better to have a .22 LR gutgun than leaving that .45 ACP fullsize handgun back at home.
WW2 maybe but in WW1 it was not uncommon for dudes to jump in an enemy trench with nothing but a pistol, a french nail and a sack full of hand grenades
sauce?

220-240?
try 150-180
I do, I just never subscribed to him and haven't watched his vids in ages. Thanks for the sauce.
Yeah, and it was disliked by troops and looked down upon as a weak round.
No one expects to use their sidearm in combat today.
But it wasn't. Everyone loves to bring up the Moros in the Philippines as the reason the US went to .45ACP, but everyone leaves out the fact that .45 rounds would have had the same effect as the .38s. Pistol rounds suck for killing people.
And even in those wars, they recognized that the round was underpowered.
TIGHT TOLERANCES?
It's a great, perfectly capable cartridge. It has done a great job during both WW, but also as a police pistol. It is by the way still in use in some european police departments, like in the city police of France. .32 ACP is very controllable, you can quite easily mag-dump an enemy at close range, with less efforts than with a 9x19. FMJ rounds have a good penetration, so there are no problem on this side.
So, is it the best pistol cartridge ? No. But is it a viable cartridge for self defense ? Absolutely !!
I keep a portable one in my truck, just in case such a situation arises
The gif. Look up “unreliable USP” it’s a short ass video and fucking hilarious

I don't mind the ballistics of the .32acp but it has other potential failure points a .380 doesn't. I currently own both a P32 and a TCP and I'm selling the P32.
This does belong here!!!
Everything in this post is related to weapons!
Keep it in !

Then you bust out the Barrett.
But a 1911 will sense that you're in danger and shoot the bad guys from your house.
What a bunch of fags.
Don't sell it, convert it to .25 NAA -- it's basically rimless .32 ACP necked down to .25.
Most of them didn't even have a pistol outside of the officers
It hits like a brick through a plate glass window
Issued to them? No.
Many of them found other ways of getting them however.
