So I'm very building a romainian ak parts kit off a Childers 80% reciever. What tools do I need. I'm getting headspace gauges and have drill press and a twelve ton

Can I get a quick run down on all size drill bits I need. What are reemers for and are they necessary? What size drill bit do I need for the fsb and gas block pins?

Need your help akg doods. Got a Midwest industries side mount for my saiga(I was under the impression that this was THE one to get). It doesnt fit center axis on top though, which obviously fucks up my accuracy. Do I need a different mount? Is my saiga out of spec somehow? Is my mount out of spec?

it doesn't. lots of them are like that. And many guns have used offset sights

It adds an additional factor, sure. but it doesn't "fuck up accuracy." M1 garand D had a much more significant offset than that. So do the original Galil side mounts. POSP scopes are generally quite offset.

Just get something else instead if it bothers you.

Should have bought an RS Regulate set up. That will still work, just zero the dot with it being slightly off set.
