Is anyone else looking at adding a revolver or two to their collection? I'm starting to look now but can't decide what area I currently have covered by my pistols that I'd like to fill first, it's between a full size revolver for range use (possibly a Ruger GP100 or a used S&W Model 10) or a J frame size revolver for concealed carry (likely a Ruger LCR).

I'm planning on getting a Benelli B76 pistol pretty soon.
Only comes with two mags though and they're basically unobtainium.

According to an old forum post from 2009 the magazines from the Benelli B82 fit and work. It's the same gun but in 9x18 Ultra. That would be great, cause I can actually get those.

I know it's a shot in the dark, but can any of you confirm this?

Why not .45 super? Also, I thought HK barrels couldn't be re-chambered reliably because HK goes full retard when hardening them.

Decocker is just a decocker. It basically sets it back to double-action. There is nothing on the gun that disengages the trigger.

Especially since. 460 Rowland 230gr only has about 120fps increase over .45 Super in duty gun length barrels, and .45 Super only requires a recoil spring swap in HK firearms and you can still shoot .45 acp

I’d consider a revolver if someone made a nag at type revolver or a top opening revolver with the cylinder being fully sealed and no gap.
That way you could run a suppressor on it and it being effective.
Otherwise I’m not interested.

No. The .460 Rowland case is longer than .45 ACP/.45 Super, but it has the same overall length since it's limited to the same magazines. The longer case is only to prevent it from being loaded in a gun that's not made for those higher pressures . A quality .45 acp barrel with a fully supported chamber can handle .45 super... and .45 super brass can be loaded to .460 rowland levels if that's not enough for you. My innawoods .45 super load slings 200gr at ~1418 fps, a little hotter than most factory 200gr .460 rowland loads.

You'd need a stiff recoil spring at the minimum, and for the hottt stuff a compensator is ideal. If you don't slow the slide down, it will outrun the magazine spring's ability to feed... and beat your frame to death while it's at it.

The consensus is correct. I own 3 non-omega CZs and my father has a p01 omega, that I had to swap the safety/decocker on.

Just buy a non-omega with the type of controls you want and don't bother with the swappable shit.

It absolutely positively 100% conclusively is not worth it at all under any circumstance ever on this or any other planet in the multiverse.

1: 80% of the parts are useless and don't improve the function or feel of the gun.
2: The parts cost ~$220 so you're paying nearly that much again to have someone else install drop-in parts.
3: The $88 competition hammers are relatively easy to install yourself (much easier than messing with the sear) and do 90% of what the """"kit"""" does.

tl;dr Just buy one of their $88 hammers in a compatible design you like and install it yourself.

I haven't seen a .45 super with more muzzle energy than 700 ft/lbs, the .460 rowland 185gr hollowpoints go well past 1,000 ft/lbs muzzle energy. Regardless I'll take everyones advice and hold off on it, for now.
I've shot .450 SMC out of it before and while it was hilarious to shoot, I would prefer to get a stronger recoil spring before I shoot it often. Do any of you know of a manufacturer that sells them? I haven't seen any for HK45 specifically.
