Not him but I'll buy a mateba over a MR73 mainly because MR73 are the same price and have 2 years waitlist and If we are lucky Mateba acutally knows how to deal with customers.

I want it because I think it looks cool and has a unique visual and mechanical design, not for it's robustness or anything useful.
And for me it's not a one-or-the-other case. If I could have it my way, I'd get both for their own unique cool factor. But if I know one is only available for a limited time and the other is open at least for special ordering, I should get the limited one first.

I've heard most of the reliability issues were with ammo and ancient pistols that haven't cleaned well. It's supposed to be improved but I don't know what exactly was changed.

One thing good about NJ is that there's a firearm importer that deals with really expensive firearms, so importing wouldn't be anything new for them.
