Should I do it Jow Forums? My lgs just put some of these up for sale for $900, and that seems like a good deal

Its definitely unique and a good deal compared to the current going price, but for having so much plastic I still think its a bit too high.
That just looks like tacticool garbage. What is it?
lol Academy was selling these for $800 a while back. I’d check them out first if you have one nearby.
Can you afford it without putting yourself in a hole?
Does it seem like something YOU would enjoy?
If yes to both, get it, don't listen to what a bunch of nogun armchair operators on a Mongolian fish tossing form has to say
Apparently they are great reliable shooters. Just kinda fugly.
From what others are saying, same issues as the HK G36. Starts to not be as accurate once it warms up and polymer starts shifting.
Iraqveteran8888 had shooting video for it. Overall he liked it.
I like it and kind of want one just because it is different, but I don't want it shifting where it's hitting after polymer heats up from extended use.
I'd buy it but mostly because it looks cool
Its kinda rare so in a decade or two itll have lots of collectors value
I've only held one, so my experience doesn't matter much, but they feel incredibly cheap and fragile.
This seems to be the general consensus of everyone I've heard from about this gun, as well.
It felt like a tuna.
Buy a tuna user.
Adding to that, it has a really nifty mechanism to switch sides for ejection. Honestly it doesn't sound like a bad choice at all if you want a potential collector's investment piece.
It would probably sell better if they made the stock and handguard smaller and less hideous.
it would sell better if they didn't try to jew people for a polymer frame attached to a pencil thin barrel $1500
I have one and really like it. Mine hasn't had any accuracy issues so I don't know what people are complaining about. I've put 600 rounds through it in one sitting shooting tannerite out to a hundred yards and it's been a tack driver the whole time. It's very light but has a nice size that's easy to get a good purchase on. I'm going to take some carbine classes this summer and there's a good chance I'll use it for one of the classes. I have a ton of carbines so something has to stand out for me to spend time with it.
You can get the factory SBR for that price.
Except the G36 didn't have that issue.
For $900, I absolutely would
They are being dropped by Beretta FYI
Post proofs
I don't believe you
Beretta ARX-100
>(((FILE NAME OF THE PICTURE)))
The general consensus is that it's a fantastic gun technically, it's just ugly as sin.
I own one. It's a great gun. I posted my thoughts a few days ago, I bought mine from Bud's for 899 back in february, have about 2000 rounds through her.
First, the barrel mounts into a steel or aluminum block (can't tell, but it's definitely metal). Second, it doesn't really string shots when it warms up. I get pretty good accuracy out of mine, about the same as my ARs actually.
Things to know before buying this rifle.
1. Sights. Replace them with something else. They work fine on the A1 and A2 receivers where they were mounted directly on the receiver before and after a slightly shorter top rail. The ARX100 uses the A3 receiver with the full top rail, so the sights are mounted on the top rail, and sit way too high. So with that being said, 900 is a good price, but you'll spend another $150+ on proper BUIS that aren't so damn high.
The QD barrel. I've removed the barrel every time for cleaning. I haven't noticed a zero shift yet. When you lock in the barrel, you hear a very heft "CLICK", and that's it, it's in there and doesn't budge. Accuracy-wise, pic related is a full mag at 100 yards using an unmagnified red dot. I was shooting at about 1 a second. This is about as well as I can shoot with unmagnified optics at 100 yards anyway, so I'm pretty happy with it. Also, it was my 3rd magazine, (spent the first 2 dicking around playing with the red dot's reticle).
Ergonomics. This is the only thing I give the ARX100 some strikes. I'm 6'3" 220. I have giant hands, so the controls are just right for me, but everyone else who's tried it says the selector is out of reach. The stock, however, is too short. I could see it working okay with a chest rig/plate carrier, something to add an inch. My wife loves the stock length but hates the selector distance. With those out of the way, the mag release and BHO/Bolt release is super easy. cont.
>All that plastic
>having a metal magazine
There are three mag release buttons, one right, one left, and one on the bottom below the trigger guard, that you can hit with your thumb. The BHO can be actuated with your trigger finger and is easy enough once your used to it. Actually, I'd say its really fast once you're used to it.
Charging handle. Spend the $15 and get the Beretta extended charging handle. It snaps over the charging handle making it go from kinda crappy to super comfortable. You have to remove it to take the weapon down, but it's got a leaf spring inside that snaps over the handle, it's easy to remove and install and has no play.
Reliability. It takes everything and asks for more. It doesn't matter what you run through it.
It's the lightest piston gun on the market. Not as light as a DI AR, but if that's what you want, then that's what you'll buy.
Overall, I'm super impressed with it. Oh yeah, get the bottom rail extension too. It's also like $15 and gets rid of that T-Rail for the grenade launcher so you can actually mount a VFG or a hand stop or whatever.
Pic related is mine.
