Clean your AK after shooting! Yeah it's an AK but should still be cleaned. If you are extra lazy, just shoot some commercial ammo through it after 7n6 and it will blow the corrosive salts out.

Corrosive primers were meant for reliability and LONG-term storage. I'll be passing 7n6 down to my grandkids and it will still shoot fine. GT doesn't come sealed in airtight tins. And, GT has had questionable performance in their latest batches.

Have you ever tried it? IT WORKS! It's not perfectly clean. But, it isn't going to rust half as bad as it will just sitting idle without ANY cleaning after shooting corrosive ammo.

Just pour a bottle of water down it. No need to do a full cleaning every time

I've let my rifle dry for 3 days after giving it multiple coats of epoxy but still notice a strong smell almost immediately after putting it in the oven (took it out after it started getting stronger faster), can't really afford to put this off any longer tho

Zastava QC slipped on a 2015 batch and literally every complaint you've ever read about NPAPs has been a gun from that batch, and even then the issues weren't metallurgy issues, they were issues with shit like recoil spring assemblies being too short or the FSB pins being drilled crooked. For example, the infamous first AKOU test was due to an out-of-spec magwell.
Look up Mel64d on YouTube. He does actual rockwell hardness tests on AKs and every Zastava he's done has been within spec for combloc AKs.
