Someone needs to sue on the basis of the process having been unconstitutional. The state constitution clearly forbids non-germane amendments to bills, yet this bill began as a drug bill, and was amended into a gun bill. Sen. Sears, who was the bill's original sponsor, voted against it at every step of the way because of that.
