first for chair force best branch

>Nice and clean bases
>Better conditions
>Air Conditioned barracks with internet.
>Beneficial Higher paying jobs
>Better mess halls and food

That's if you wanna take the easy route of life. Otherwise the Marine Corps is the real man's branch.

third for WHEN THE FUCK IS MY WAIVER GOING TO GO THROUGH

I AM LITERALLY GOING INSANE WAITING 8 FUCKING MONTHS FOR A PRK WAIVER

Not sure what you mean by “Beneficial, higher paying jobs”. If you are planning on getting out and getting your A&P to work in aviation there are vastly fewer rates/MOSs that qualify. For example I was an AD in the Navy, because (depending on the platform) the AF breaks my job down into three to five separate jobs you may learn more about a portion of the engine but in general have next to no knowledge outside of your specialty. Also, maintainers in the Navy are final checkers/shooters as well so you’re required to know a bit about all the systems of the aircraft. Before this though most maintainers are line rats/plane captains and will have learned a great deal about the aircraft before even moving into their rates’ respective shops.
tl;dr - Navy is the best choice to go if you want to do aviation as a civilian.

Oh please tell me med waivers aren't taking 8 months. Please. Don't do that to me.

Honest question. Will I still be able to torrent my chinese cartoons and occasionally watch them if I enlist?

Attached: badger question.jpg (1920x1080, 288K)

I can’t speak to aviaonic quals for AF transitioning to civil/private sector though, but most former military guys I’ve worked with got their A&P through time in rate and then went to school for avionics.

This has gotten so bad that the Chief at my recruiting station refers to me on a first name basis

Apparently the Pentagon got involved because the civilian doctors at N3M were dragging ass like a dog with worms

have someone ship them on an USB stick

absolutely, many military people are degenerate anime faggots.

Lol and this is why counter intel guys have a job.

I need a physical from a civilian doctor before they work on my med waiver. I really really really don't want my waiver to take 8 months. I hope your time frame is not the norm for my sake, and I feel bad that I am saying that :(. I don't want to have to hold a piece of shit job for 8 months before I can get in. The upside is if I end up waiting that long I'll be in SFAS stud shape before I get to basic.

I'm sure my case might be a little different than yours, since I'm getting a PRK waiver and trying to rate as a Naval Aviator.

What branch and rate/MOS are you going for?

Not even close to that Jap garbage.

Attached: Machine gun.png (667x599, 325K)

get a seedbox and never worry about anyone being on your ass ever again

Army, linguist. Your situation sounds like shit. I mean bring an aviator is cool as shit, too bad I was born with shit eyesight.

lol fucking memereens thinking they signed up for combat instead going Delta, Army Ranger or Green Beret those are the guys seeing combat currently.

Lol fucking Delta operators, Rangers, and Green Berets thinking they signed up for combat instead of going Treadstone.

I went Delta green. While you edge Lord's are busy arguing about who's dick to suck I'm putting my life on the line fighting Eldritch abominations that shatter the mind and twist your sanity into a balloon animal.

My door breacher just recently took a 9mm retirement, and here I am reading your fucking circlejerk drivel. Thanks for that

lol jelly ass SEAL/CIA agent mad AF that it takes two of your guys to take down a single green beret.

This. I'll be fucked is this is true.

>he didn't join Third Echelon

>do four years as a 0311 and did a good combat deployment to Helmand in 2010.

>EAS

>go to college and get a 4 year degree

>work a boring job for 2 years

>consider reenlisting into the reserves as an 0241 intel bubba at 30 years old as a cpl

>consider asking Jow Forums for advice

Where did things go so wrong?

Attached: SAW.jpg (1599x1066, 196K)

>Where did things go so wrong?
when you didnt consider going 18x right now.

Did you miss the part where I said I was a combat veteran?

I am not interested in perming my pubes near a green bean coffee in Kandahar instead of actually fighting the war.

You could make that work. 0241 gets you a TS/SCI I assume (I don't know Marine shit that well). With a four year degree that could get you to a lot of places. What are you really interested in though?
I never got why they put Third Echelon within the NSA. The NSA does cool spooky shit but not anything close to that.

I want to get into the intel world. I am torn between HUMINT and IMINT but I am being told that federal agencies are pretty packed to the gills with HUMINT applicants and IMINT is only growing. I know the best path would be to go cyber but I just do not have the math skills for that sadly. Advice senpai?

>peq on the right side rails
the madman

can confirm
>t. degenerate military anime faggot

do i reenlist or go for a job at the ATF?

>Did you miss the part where I said I was a combat veteran?
that statement has no relation to what i said
>I am not interested in perming my pubes near a green bean coffee in Kandahar instead of actually fighting the war.
this doesnt actually make sense

I was diagnosed bipolar.

do I have any chance?

26. physical active.

You clearly never were in the military.

The PEQ can be on any side of the rails. Literally everyone I ever knew had it on the right.

buddy what im saying is your statements dont actually make sense. Think about it

IMINT is a solid path to go down. I'm actually cyber (mostly) myself and there are lots of areas that require little to no math, requiring more creativity and logic over anything else. Plus any math you really do need you could learn off Khan Academy pretty easily. I would say go reserves with an intel MOS you find most interesting, get the TS, go through your equivalent of AIT, and start applying literally everywhere. Having the BA/BS will help with your lack of intel experience. Surprisingly, it's actually easier in a lot of ways to go through as a contractor and then switch over to being a full-time employee.

You were never diagnosed bipolar. That's your story, stick to it.

The fact that you are suggesting what I was planning to do is confirmation for me enough. I appreciate it user.

IMINT is the goal currently. I really want to be a general Intel Analyst but I feel as a Cpl in the Corps in the Reserves it will not be specialized enough for a career on the back end. IMINT may be in demand enough to find a contracting position once I go through the school house. I am hoping my combat experience, age, and degree can keep me from being fucked with but we shall see.

What are the normal application routes for contracting?

t. former 11B w/ TS/SCI

Why the fuck do you have a TS/SCI as a 11B?

What about Medication I take?

I cannot fall asleep without taking it.

You better stop taking it

if you plan to tell that tale. Legally, i need to tell you to take them meds senpai.

SMP Army cadet here. Back to answer any questions relating to Army ROTC or OCS or Guard. Also looking for answers. Guard is paying for my college right now, when I get out of active service as an officer will I be eligible for the military to pay for my masters or Juris Doctorate? I'm not looking forward to being a poor college student again, even with the saved up officer pay.

fuck....

fuck

well maybe other life

If you mean "active service" as in being in the National Guard it entirely depends on when and where you deploy. You need to spend a certain amount of time on active duty orders or in a combat area as a reservist to get the full Post -9/11 Gi Bill benefits. And the fact that they paid for your school on the front end may require you to do more than 1 stint.

Nah. USN nig

I'm looking to do 6-8 years actually active in branch detail as an officer once I commission.

RTFM there is a specific setup depending on which system yo are using

yes please do read the manual and you will see there are specific zeroing instructions based off of which rail you place it on you fucking pog.

You'd be surprised.
I came from the private sector in cybersecurity so my experience was super different from most of the guys I work with but basically I made nice with a guy that worked at the place I wanted to work at by going to a cybersecurity meetup and told him about my experience and areas of expertise. He then told me to apply online through an outside contractor that he used to work through and that he would give me a semi-informal referral. I did. I got a phone interview and then started the hiring process. Contracting is kind of vague though. You got everything from the PSD shit to the spooky fun shit to the look at some satellite imagery for five days straight shit. For the PSD shit, most of the guys I know doing it are ex-SOF or they have some helpful skill high in demand like medical experience in a trauma center. If I completely misread your question and you're literally asking how to apply, fill out an application online. Having a degree helps, especially if it's a BS these days for the more technical contractors like Booz Allen, but it is not required.

What’s Psy-ops like? Do I need to be a genius? Because I am really interested in it.

Please no. For all our sakes.

I'm reenlisting at 30/31. Go for it broham. You could 18x or active duty army in general. Too bad the muhreens have such a low age limit.

Tons of army Intel will take you.

Don't have to be a genius. Just not a dumbshit. Also it's not initial entry last I checked. (cause if it is I'm doing that instead of other Intel). So enlist in something else, put in a packet etc etc.

Should I open up a thrift savings plan and mutual fund?

definitely not
Buy a lemon at your a school then go blow the rest at high end clubs and bars instead.

Can I trick a stripper into letting me bang them by acting like I want to get married?

You could always just tip them $100. That works.

I waited two years before getting mine. Call your congress persons (plural) and ask for letters of recommendation. It worked for me

Does it actually work like that?

They'll do that?

Better idea, actually marry them. Then you get more money.

Attached: 1444543158802.jpg (514x536, 30K)

63rd for sniper school >>> Rangers, SEALs, Green Berets, and Delta combined

What you never heard of that? If you get married the army gives you a raise, and it's best to marry a stripper because they are hot vs the fat chicks that try and pick up servicemen.

Man I just wanna bang a fucking stripper. That too much to ask around here?

Hey it's the COD kid again.

the 63 who.

If you aren't a dumpster fire in the looks department and are kinda smooth. I've gotten it for $50. But by then they have been grinding on me and know I'm above average in the dick department. Usually it's $100-150. Just be sure to wrap your ranger and not be a dumb fuck.

no go for it
i cant tell if youre trying to be funny or actually serious

I'm mostly joking, but seriously there are some thirsty fat girls trying to trap a man who gets a paycheck, the dependapotomus meme is real, so a guy would actually do well to land himself a stripper instead.

Will guys in the shower make fun of my small wang?

this. i went to an anime con and one of the guys we were with is a sgt in the army

Can you beat up guys with a bigger pecker than yours? Also peter staring is a good way to get your ass beat from either perspective.

Believe me I know what youre ta;lking about but the real advice is just to not get married to fat whales or gold digging strippers.
>t nonserve

I was in prison so same shit as the service.

Most guys try not to look at the penis, the ones who look don't mind the small ones because they can fit the balls too.

is the air force good for someone who wants a support role and doesnt really care for combat. the better living conditions have me interested

I hear fighting gets you kicked out. How true is that?

yeah

after 4 long years, I might finally get a long term contract with the reserves; I don't know where it will be or on what yet, but what sort of things should I start thinking about getting ready to pack with me or write down for future reference?

naval comms here btw

I'm already working on a little bridge pack for myself of common ATP1vII signals and opsigs and I have a multitool of my own and also have a nice little doc of radio system block diagrams but what other shit should I have ready for a long-term playdate with boats/boat storage land in the context of radio garbage

idk about the us but its true in canada

what armed force would want people who fight dudes from the same armed force? staring is rude, but starting fights is outright disruptive

not only did an MtG craze start at my Basic course but also one guy from it is definitely 100% confirmed into vore and is also a furrry by by his steam profile, but another is probably a diaperfag. i bet theres more going on but idk i didnt really get out much

also im a degenerate furry but just not into vore

What fleshlight did you all get and which one is the best?

dont listen to people who treat it like some kind of code, thats autism

that said, a lot of them are literal hoes. not all of them though. some are just opportunistic but still haughty thots who wont fuck for any amount of money unless you promise them a lifetime of easy going in exchange for one dose of poon

just find some slut at a bar, theres plenty of slags near military bases who want that chad muhreen dong

i use my hand that i got from sarif industries

Will I see combat as a marine infantry or will I just sit on a base for 4 years?

are there weebs in SOF?

You'll be training for global response force.

I'd guarantee the SEALS have a few, being in the Navy and all.

Wasn't there an user trying to be USAFSO as combat controller/weatherman or some crap?

I had a guy thank me because "they make fun of you for being hung and I'm a half eaten tic tac. So thanks battle".

In other words. Suck it up.

>what other shit should I have ready for a long-term playdate with boats/boat storage land in the context of radio garbage
pls help and i will either give you furry porn or refrain from posting furry porn itt, your choice

>summoned

Attached: megumin arch-wizard.gif (500x282, 2.1M)

Do you have to be big to have a good chance of getting 0311 or are pft scores more important?

Also how do I avoid being ag

Attached: sfdsfs.png (389x271, 102K)

Small guys will get 0311. Bigger guys will get weapons MOS like 31 or 41.

I've been thinking more and more about the US Navy. Im 23 and got halfway through a music performance degree before realizing that it wasn't what I was looking for. Basic bitch retail work won't support me trying to live in WA with the housing prices going up like crazy and I'd love a job that pays me while also giving me a place to live.

Anyway, I've been interested in being a Gunner's Mate, I love guns and would love to work on navy weapons as a job. I've also been interested in begin part of a flight deck crew as well if that job wasn't available. At the minimum I would like to work on a ship.

Do it.

fuck im retarded I did mean 0331, sounds like i should just start trying to get bigger

i dont want to be an assistant gunner though, is that random or what

Attached: vO7lRZ7.png (621x702, 56K)

It just seems like an objective life upgrade if I can pull it off. I'll be in better shape, learn new shit, go new places, have skills for when I come home. Maybe I'm just naive but it seems like the Navy will help me, and not break my hips or knees like the Army or Marines

pls
