Is it lighter than the RFB?
Too lazy to google.
Dammit forgot random picture
>Is it lighter than the RFB?
No, but not by much.
Either way,
>Kel-Tec
I've shot the Tavor and the RDB and I favored the RDB.
Just wondering.
I'm just glad to see more battle rifles on the market. I'm bored of intermediate stuff.
Opinions on a Primary arms 4-14x44 with mil dot reticle and ADM QD mount for a PTR-91 GR? Seems like a good fit, pretty good zoom on the scope too. It’s not a precision rifle so I’m not exactly looking for a precision scope
That would make a solid combination, might be a little over powered for my taste, but to each their own.
>Tavor and the RDB
Caliberlets shouldn't post here.
It’s adjustable from 4-14 though. I originally was thinking a vortex or PA 1-6 or 1-8, but I have over a dozen rifles with only a red dot or irons, so I didn’t want that 1x option. It’ll be my only magnified optic on any of my rifles
The gun isn't really accurate enough for use of the 14x magnification in my opinion. Personally I think any double-digit magnification is a bit overkill for a BR like a GIR.
What’s the max you would do? I was looking at the vortex strike Eagle 1-8, but a lot of the reviews said past 6x it’s essentially useless.
What scope in that sub $400 price range would you reccomend? I’m just looking to punch holes in paper further away. The PTR is not the fun to chase groups with, and I understand that
Own 2 Fals and a Ptr as well as a plethora of bolt guns. Just now bullpups.....Yet......So I tried out their little brothers that my buddy owns.
With that point being made a 3×9×50 wouldn't be half bad. I can see the upside to that high of magnification.
I got two FALs as well (Older PTR91 GI along with a Chinese/Norinco M14S which is apparently hard to get in the US.) and was thinking about getting a bullpup in 308 to go along with my 5.56 Aug. Earlier in the week my LGS owner said he's getting 2 of the Tavor 7s and might be able to sell them below or a little over 2K. A friend of mine got claim to the black one and I'm still considering the FDE one.
Any you’d reccomend? I’be been trying to stick with scopes that I know work with a PTR, cause I’m worried about the objective lens getting in the way of the charging handle
Am I /brg/ now
>my LGS owner said he's getting 2 of the Tavor 7s and might be able to sell them below or a little over 2K
$2k is a pretty decent for a modern BR considering that a SCAR and MR762 are over $3k. You can crossshop a Tavor 7 with some higher-end .308 ARs.
>cal. 5.56
caliberlets never learn.
Leaf I'm assuming?
I've only seen one Norinco M14 before, was interested but at the time I was more into milsurp and passed on it. If you snag it, could you make a right up for /BRG/?
I saw an RFB at a gunshow last month for under $1200, but right now I need to hold off on gun projects.
Posted this the other day, does anybody have any markings in their FAL parts?
I personally run a bunch of Leupold and Nikon because of my fuddish preferences when I hunt durr. My buddy has good luck with his Vortex.
You're smol, pls go.
fug
to be fair the next riffle i get will be a PTR-91 A3R... are the collapsible stocks comfy or garbage
Kind of the reason why I am considering it. Have an AR-15 and used to own several others but got rid of them to keep one. I don't find AR's all that fun to be honest so looking for something different.
I am a US citizen who happened to get a pre-ban M14S that showed up at his LGS four months ago for about 1200. Now it sits next to the other /BRG/ just haven't had the time to get something to keep the front site from moving around. Every third shot I have to manually move the damn thing to the left with my fingers. I'm told blue...my mind went blank with the actual title but I'll know what the guys at the LGS said when I see it.
Super cool.
Not comfy though.
You can put silly ar style ones on, but the factory collaspsible ones aren't very fun to shoot after awhile.
Are all new production non voyager DSA FAL's cast receivers? I've heard they do runs of both cast and forged and wondering if anyone knows any info on this.
Blue Loctite would be good to lock it in place. Just center the everloving shit out of it.
I've heard of them producing both cast and forged but I guess the forged ones are marked accordingly and are a bit pricier.
Get some actual firepower and come back.
Yeah, that's it blue loctite.
WOOOOOO!
We figured it out!
Honestly, having more than one AR in any caliber is a bit redundant.
That said, I don't own an AR and I've been eyeing the BRN-10. However, the Tavor is making think twice about saving a bit more and getting a Tavor 7.
>are the collapsible stocks comfy or garbage
No. They're pretty shit. The sliding one especially. The folding one less so, but still shit.
DS Arns SA58 16"
Go or no go for first BR?
Still wish they would have made a 7.62 version of it just to see how much more of a boat it would have been or what style of magazine they would have used.
>4lb
Why do you lie?
Does anyone have experience with the specter raider 2 point sling? I want to get a sling for pic related.
No, but cool rifle.
I would get the 18"
Sauce on the pic?
I was looking at the primary arms 3x acss last night for my cetme308 (I know shut up). I think that's what I'm leaning towards. If you haven't looked into their acss, take a gander it's bretty gud.
>those FALs
soyboy/10
please eat
At least I’m lifting to fix it
Is this /JustAsGoodGeneral/?
That's cool. You need to have massive calorie intake to increase body mass while spending energy to exercise, though.
4.5 thousand a day, been gaining about a pound a week. Went from 110 to 120 so far
MDR here, tavor 7 a shit
I put an eotech on mine
Good enough for blue helmets out to 400m.
I really like the FAL on the far left, that is kinda what I am looking for aesthetically speaking. I am inexperienced in the world of battle rifles so could you give me some pointers on what to look out for when buying an FAL? What manufacturers are recommended and where to start? Someone in another thread told me something about building one with parts kits as opposed to just purchasing one.
>Pic unrelated
How's that MDR? Would you say that it's worth $2,500?
>spookey scary skeleton
Try Chinese food and lifting, you have a good frame to really build on.
Get a savings account
depends on what you are looking for. A MOA bullpup that is fun to shoot/look at? or something for SHTF? If the latter I would recommend the scar, but the MDR is easily becoming my favorite rifle.
Understood. How's the trigger on the MDR?
Seriously considering a Tavor 7 or MDR. Which should I get?
Its pretty good, mushy with a bit of travel, so not the greatest. Easily better than the stock bullpup triggers I have tried before though. I know Shootingsite is already working on a replacement drop in triggerfor it thats supposed to be a nice 2stage.
lmt mws is better
I know someone on here has the PA5x on theirs and they like it. I have their 3x on an AR pistol and i like it. While not a 308, I do have the PA 1-6 gen 1 on my PTR32.
>mws over a scar, bullpup, or m110
Normieboi git
goddamn right asshole. you can't prove me wrong.
Would you say that the trigger is better than the x95? I'm really considering getting a Tavor 7 or MDR this year.
How much protein? For your weight it should be about 80-100 grams a day, otherwise you're inhibiting your weight-gaining
Also since you're lifting start off with 4 sets of 8-10 reps each, once you start increasing your lifts, get a swolemate and do 5x5's (five sets of five reps each)
have not used an X95 so I couldnt say
Fuck, that gun's sexy.
You're tryin too hard Possi
>should be apparent I'm even trying.
shame on you, old man
>bullpup
Nope
*not even trying
I shot my self in da foot there
>old man
I laugh at you for the things you do not know
t. dusty old bones
I'm not sure you'd believe me if I told you how old I am
I bet you fart dust
I eat nothing but plum pudding
bum pudding
Your mom's bum pudding boi
says while posting dick cats and 3rd world gats
You already know
Should I?
The Tavor 7 or MDR look better.
>$2000
For an ar with bullpup conversion when you could get two PTRs, a dsa fal, a RFB, an ace or a sagia in .308 instead.
But the M17S solved the bullpup trigger problem.
How so?
>not getting a fixed stick on g3 variants
Maybe you should just get the 10/22 instead champ
By not having one
It flipped the trigger pack around, so the transfer bar pulls on the sear instead of pushes on it. So no more mushy triggers.
Fug. Try again.
Who else here /JLD/?
>Invest in not 1, but 2 fake SVDs
Get on my broke-ass level.
Only a hipster like me can overinvest in a gun
I'm not understanding the syntax of your post. Do you think that's an AR10 in a kit?
>invest
Your using the term incorrectly
A gun that's not going to be mass-produced any time again and is barred from US import?
I've seen these rifles go up $500 per year in cost online. I can sell this thing for 3x the cost I purchased it right now. No, I used it correctly.
