>In End of Evangelion, the only guns that don't eject shell casings are the JSDF G11s
it's the attention to detail
>In End of Evangelion, the only guns that don't eject shell casings are the JSDF G11s
it's the attention to detail
gurren lagann was better
EoE was pretty good for attention to detail
the 1995 ghost in the shell movie was pretty good too
>movie starts off with kid jacking off on unconscious grils tiddies
And it was the most detailed cummed on hand I'd ever seen put to film.
autistic bullet effect attention to detail was top tier
mah nigga, beat me to it
give
>forgetting about his live action movie
I recognize that gun!
>tfw you wish you were misato
>forgetting about his original GiTS manga
the first french movie i ever saw
His autistic style of direction doesn't translate too much on live action.
I pretty much am Misato except I'm not cute, a girl, 2D, I don't have a cute pet and/or angsty, mentally fucked up high schoolers living with me, and I'm not an officer in a shadowy UN funded paramilitary organization.
I have the depression, mental issues, small apartment, HK USP .45, and day drinking down pat though.
what is this from?
nah, but the soundtrack was intense as hell
ghibli - on your mark
vimeo.com
a music video IIRC
Is that a FAMAS?
no, its a deagle brand AR-15
I don't have the webm, but Miami Vice is pretty Jow Forums. There's an episode where Micheal Mann actually had a pro competition shooter play a villain and do some sub-second djibouti shooties.
But isn't she failing to press a mag release?
>''All non combat personnel should avoid engaging the enemy. These guys are pros; so if you can't retreat to central dogma you're better off just surrendering.''
If you can't retreat to central dogma you're better off surrendering. These guys are pros
Talking Head is one of the best movies in history.
The USP mag release is in the sort of "crotch" between the trigger guard and the grip allowing it to be pressed by the user's middle finger. Since that part of her hand is off screen when we see the mag release I would assume that's what she did.
Solid.
Too bad that's the best scene on the movie
>Those J7W inspired planes
fun fact - they used live ammo for these scenes with the guns at fixed elevation to fire over the actors' heads.
SO FUCKING DOPE
Is that supposed to be a prop plane with fighter jet performance?
Congratulations!
not suprising, they still do the same thing in basic training in the army. pretty hard to tell the difference between 4 machine guns firing 15 feet above you and 4 machine guns firing 2 feet above you when you're crawling ass through some barb wire maze in the dead of night
Do the animation houses understand what they gave up when they went to all computer? This is absolutely gorgeous.
>I pretty much am Misato except I'm not cute, a girl, 2D, I don't have a cute pet and/or angsty, mentally fucked up high schoolers living with me, and I'm not an officer in a shadowy UN funded paramilitary organization.
>yet
Turboprop aircraft can actually have extremely respectable performance at low speeds and altitudes. In particular, the short-field takeoff performance is usually excellent (and generally superior to non-afterburning jets).
Never seen this but I imagine it sounded like the Thunderscreech. While looking for a video of the Thunderscreech I found this youtube.com
>implying
Turboprops are for loitering and ferrying cargo. Leave the combat to the big boys, even at low altitudes. Pic very much related.
What movie?
Filename, spud.
>my vision isn't augmented
>yet
>newest print still did not have the hot lesbian cyborg sex
Fucking Americans ruining it for everyone.
Forgive me, but sauce?
>Area 88
That stuff was legit good, and the music was so 80s it hurt, but was great.
End of Evangelion, it's a movie.
End of evangelion, wrap-up movie to the Neon genesis evangelion anime
Cross of Iron
Sam Peckinpah directs the Eastern Front of WWII. I really shouldn't have to say anything else.
Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence
The most sympathetic while still accurate portrayal of the IJA, a joint British and Japanese film staring David Bowie and Takeshi Kitano (Beat Takeshi), really beautiful film.
Way of the Gun
Buddy cop/heist film with a really accurate depiction of firearms. Directors autistically counted all the shots before characters reloaded to make sure they didn't fire too many. Some pretty memorable one liners, too.
Green Room and Blue Ruin
Same guys are behind each film. Blue Ruin is a realistic revenge story, has an overweight side character who lives on his own and adores his Mosin and says shit that implies the writers must've browsed here at least a bit. Green Room is a really down to Earth and morally grey film about Neo Nazis in a bar trying to kill the witnesses to a murder inside it, gritty and great.
Red Sun
Toshiro Mifune and Charles Bronson buddy cop film about a Japanese samurai and a bandit on a quest to get back a stolen sword that was a gift from the Emperor of Japan to the President of the United States. Full with a comanche vs samurai duel.
Outpost
Mercenaries from all over the world are sent to an abandoned Nazi outpost in Eastern Europe to help a scientist secure their abandoned research. Turns up they were up to experiments that may have kept them around. Top tier Jow Forums horror alongside Dog Soldiers, don't recommend the sequels, though.
Red State
Crazy cultists kidnap some people, the ATF are sent in. After it's quickly botched, the ATF are ordered to kill all witnesses to prevent another Ruby Ridge/Waco. Directed by Kevin Smith with John Goodman playing an ATF Agent.
ShinGodzilla
Probably the best Godzilla for Jow Forums, entire scenes dedicated to showing the JSDF's arsenal and firepower being useless against Godzilla, American B-2s with bunker busters are brought in and they even bring in drones.
cont.
The Odd Angry Shot
Aussies in Vietnam. A really down to Earth and realistic depiction of the daily life of Australian troops in 'nam, focuses a lot on the likable cast of characters. Honestly my favorite 'nam movie and I'm American.
The Wind That Shakes the Barley
All about the Irish war of Independence and Irish Civil war. Probably one of the best cinematic depictions of IRA soldiering during that era even if the muzzleflashes are CGI. Also leans a bit too anti-treaty near the end in my opinion but the situation was shit in general.
The Proposition
Australian Western. Irishmen, Brits, Abos, bushwhackers, you name it. Don't want to spoil much more.
R-Point
Korean squad in Vietnam sent to a haunted area neither the North or South Vietnamese will touch to search for a lost Platoon. Sufficiently creepy.
Katsu Zatoichi franchise
26 films in all, a blind masseur trained in swordsmanship roams around, using his conceal blade to protect himself from aggressors seeing him as the perfect victim. Most of the films share the same themes but almost all are worth watching. In Zatoichi Meet the One Armed Swordsman, a one armed Hong Kongese swordsman makes his way to Japan and becomes a fugitive, leading to an inevitable clash between the disabled fighters.
Northern Limit Line
True story of South Koreans who engaged in a naval battle with North Koreans in the early 2000s.
Land of Mine
Danish film based on how the Danish forced Wehrmacht veterans, most under the age of 17, to demine the beaches of Denmark after the war. Really heart wrenching.
City of Life and Death
Most accurate depiction of the Rape of Nanking yet. The Chinese director got death threats for portraying a Japanese soldier as one of the main characters being shaken by the horrors.
Bonuses!
Documenatires:
Armadillo
Danish members of ISAF in Afghanistan and their daily lives from seeing their families off to returning home. Shows actually combat footage as well. Taught me Danes used the MG-3 as their LMG until 2015.
Collusion
Ulster Loyalist atrocities condoned and aided by the Brits during the Troubles. Highly recommended for those not familiar with Loyalist and British collusion during the Troubles. Some Sterling SMG action, too.
Chosin
Interviews with American Army and Marines during the Chosin campaign during the Korean war. Highly recommended, don't want to spoil anything.
TV shows:
Waco
Realistic mini-series based on the Waco siege. Shows how scummy the ATF were, as well as them shooting first. Well acted and well written.
Generation Kill
THE best military TV show, follows the true story of Marines during Iraqi Freedom.
>that filename
Speaking of Way of the Gun, does anyone know what jacket Del Toro wears?
It was also bank breaking and required incredible talent to pull off. I can count the number of studios capable of this kind of quality on one hand and there can't be more than a hundred works that they use it.
I can hear the Phil Collins from here
>wanting something from mamoru oshii
only if he has a writer that isn't him
>implying there was only one
they're all bad too
the manga wasn't oshii and you can tell because it's enjoyable to read
>In End of Evangelion, the only guns that don't eject shell casings are the JSDF G11s
Hmm doesn't caseless ammo mean the weapon gets hot much quicker than otherwise would? The cases act like ejectable heatsinks.
>Shin Godzilla
[meetings intensifies]
hello to caseless faults 101
>City of Life and Death
youtube.com
The parade is one of my favorite movie scenes.
But i've always wondered how realistic/historical it is. The IJA was pretty western in it dress and military manners. And the video from the parada they held in Singaphore was pretty much along western lines aside from the boxes with the ashes of the fallen.
ask /fa/
>teeny-tiny gun mounted on the top most point of a biped that isn't braced for recoil at all can penetrate an MBT, but MBTs still need 120mm cannons
w e e b s h i t
Anime girl tiddies*. The only way it could be more Jow Forums is if shinji mentioned glocks
R point!! I saw that years ago without knowing the title and have been trying to find it ever since but i never could. You just made my damn day.
I like to pretend guy was using 6.5 CBJ
