I believe this would be good because even a stormtrooper would be able to fire it properly, between the scattershot and laser, plus it’s a shorter barrel so better spread. Alternatively you could also fire slugs though and easily puncture holes in enemy spacecrafts, which the breacher barrel would make easier!

something with power enough to punch through a suit but not a hull wall. Reusable darts and a relatively light overall weight. Needs a slideout bayonet and user serviceable parts built in. Like the sear reverses to expose a new face after the first one wears out, like a built in parts kit.
