Good capability, breaks all the fucking time
It's actually been replacing a lot of other airframes so I don't see it being replaced anytime soon
A relatively safe aircraft meme'd into being a dangerous one just like the A-10 is meme'd into not being a pile of obsolete junk
The Germans built a better VTOL light cargo aircraft 50 years ago.
garbage plane
Don't forget the F-22 gasses the pilots to death
I can't speak to maintenance in the fleet, but they're an easy aircraft to work on, and they're very capable within the safe flight parameters. I think the biggest problem right now is parts shortages, which having worked ay Bell, is not surprising.
>A-10
>a pile of obsolete junk
let me guess, youre only pretending to be retarded, right?
Boomers are the only reason its still flying
Us fighting barely industrialized nations is why it's still flying.
You're not technically wrong.
Tiltrotors are a great way of getting materials and men farther than a helicopter but don't require a runway like a plane. Of course, they can't carry as much but the range and speed increase is justified in my opinion. I honestly hope that tiltrotors stick around for a long time. Ospreys are pretty aesthetic.
My dad designed this.
Isn't it supposed to be the V-280 Valor ?
Dornier also did a pre-YF23 tech study with Northrop in the 70s.
No, the Valor is much smaller. Valor is a Blackhawk replacement.
>My dad designed this.
You must be the brunette I used to fuck between classes... Unless you have a sister.
