Can get three or four more on the hunter's license as the new law goes in effect. Thinking of getting a Krag, a Remington 870, another Mauser (a carbine Swedish mauser, a gebirgsjägerkarabin, or another K98kf1 (because they're so cheap), or a Tikka T3 (because it would be nice to get into long range shooting), or a Garand, if I can find one, because those are some of the few not going away with the new semi auto ban. Or maybe even an SKS, if they get legal with the new laws, but they're probably still banned. Kind of want a Mosin Nagant too, as they'll definitely be legal, but expensive, and the ammunition will be rare as hell. But it's the official gun of poorfag Jow Forums, so I want one.

Will join a pistol club when I've got the time to get hold of a cheap P08 Luger and some cheap .22 handgun. Thinking of getting into black powder shooting too, as I love the old school guns more than new technology. And I'm not personally into the whole self defense and prepping thing.

Then I'll go for a sports shooting license, and get hold of an AR-15, or a Valmet, if those can still be found.

Then maybe a collectors license, to get hold of the real fun stuff. Think I'll specialize in Mausers, or FN.

I don't understand how yanks can be nogunz and post on this board though. You've literally just have to have a clean record, and not been forcibly institutionalized, and you can go out and buy all kinds of neat stuff. Even in California and New York, you can get hold of a lot of nice milsurp and bolt actions.

Because unless you live in Japan, it's achievable to get one. Maybe hard if it's an actual 3rd world country though, but since you're posting here, I suspect it's at worst case a 2nd world country.

While the UK and Australia is bad, it's entirely possible to get hold of lots of guns. You'd just have to learn to love bolt actions and shotguns.

I like guns. Might try to move to the US in the future. Still thinking it through. Got a friend in Oklahoma and I'm going to try and visit and see how I go. Trying to do research on immigration. I use to have airsoft guns but getting real shit is almost impossible and just too much hassle. If I do move though I often think about what kind of stuff I'd want. I've always wanted a nice .22 rifle to plink with as it looks fun, and I'd love to go hunting as well at some point.

I've been here since the beginning. Originally because this wasn't much of a gun owner community and the board's primary subject matter (firearms) was interesting. Interesting in the same sense as, say, rocket engines. I don't need to own either to appreciate the engineering. Shooting is pretty dull, did enough of that as a conscript. Can't imagine how some people enjoy that.

Nowadays I'm here mostly to laugh at burgeristan's gun politics, because that's what this place is chock full of. Most gun control advocates in the US of A seem genuinely retarded, but in the long term, you're still fighting a losing battle over gun rights. It's fun to watch both sides as a third party, from a country that has sane gun culture.

All in all I don't spend a lot of time here. Not anymore. Large part of the board is normalfags, phoneposters and assorted cancer that does not belong to Jow Forums. Jow Forums demographics have changed a lot since its inception, more so than any other board I've used to frequent.
