I love this shit. You can use it indoors without breaking stuff, and you can use them in offices without getting fired (depending on where you work).
I got a sledgefire on sale, and removed the extended stock to give it the rough outline of a fuckhuge pistol. Got a 3D printed shell for it that changes it to firing a single dart instead of three, and also allow for rear-loading so the shell doesn't have to be removed and replaced with each shot.
It turned it into a monster single-shot, especially with half-sized darts, and with practice and a pocket full of darts I've found I can get a shot off every two or so seconds. Peanuts against electric guns, I know, but against other springers it surpasses their RoF as soon as they need to reload, and it's more reliable than clips or even revolvers—As long as you can stuff the dart into the thing, it'll pretty much fire it, no matter how mangled it is.

The first in the series with the charging handle on top and the magazine well in the handle is by far the most fun to reload. Something about yanking out the beefy plastic tube and slamming in a fresh one right in the grip is so satisfying. Also it has a really good 3d printed pump shotgun style thing that turns it into a death machine.

There are city wide matches of nerf that take place over the place of a month where I live.
You take a video of you "assassinating" (shooting with a nerf gun) a player and upload it to Twitter or Snapchat and they're eliminated and you get a point.
The only rules are that you can't get players in schools, churches, or their place of work.

the Modulo AR variant is awesome but kind of a game killer if one body gets all the mags but after they're done you can zerg rush them with the manual reload guns and paint their shit out.
the mini ring one-shot pistol is probably my absolute favorite weapon after anything with gunpowder in it, it's a tack driver at 40 feet and causes grown adults to yell when hit
