>SCAR
Stand aside plebian
Do they come in 6.5 grendel yet?
I don't want a gun chambered in inferior cartridges just so poorfags can buy ammo for it at Walmart.
Until they update the stock and rails, they won't get my business. Or at the very least release the SSR Mk. 20 for the civilian market.
My brother owned one. It was cool to shoot just because it was a SCAR, but I don't think I would ever spend that kind of money on one myself.
>factory mass production rifle
>not poor
k
tfw fn won't sell you the ssr stock
I think the mk20 is available in 6.5, I know they make it in .260 remington. fn seems to be taking their time on a civilian market release though...
I'm a poorfag NEET and I still own a SCAR.
>not monolithic
Pass
I didn't want one anyways!
Here is a picture of my SCAR 17 with my Primary arms aimpoint clone that works just as good as the real thing plus I have a UTG bipod to go with it since any bipod over $50 is over priced.
>that fleabay light and mount
bruh just spend 100 bucks on a Primary Arms light and a mount that isn't a piece of poo.
.308 SCARs chew scopes. Knights armament are the true sigil of rank. Price that followed function.
>buys the most overpriced rifle he can
>straps 5 dollar chink plastic on it
I got that off amazon for $20 for both plus free shipping.
This is a meme.
See
That little sight has been working for a very long time and my Scar 17 hasn't destroyed it yet.
/Scarg/ anyone?
>5 dollar
That sight was $100.
>That rail extension.
Its solidly built and adds very little weight. Biggest reason I wanted it was because I needed the extra room for a bipod.
Fuck FN for never having any in stock. Going to settle for a KAC instead
That is a logical decision.
I hope they release the MK 20 eventually for civilian purchase.
you would probably be better off getting a replacement longer barrel. I think back when they were originally revealed, the MSRP was supposed to be 5-6k.
There's conversion kits but they're as unobtanium as the 6.5 ACR kits.
>HCAR
>ever
nigga
you have to have something further forward than the standard rails for a bipod and or a light
Is it to keep it more steady for long shots? I use my bipod on the stock rail but I don't use a long range scope.
I'm definitely poor.
there are much prettier expensive guns that I want, thanks
did FN actually ever say anything about pricing? I have doubts that they would put it much more that $1000 above the 17
>spending $2k+ on a rifle that needs a trigger upgrade to be acceptable
But hey, who am I to tell you how to waste your money?
While I consider the Scar as one of the most aesthetic guns there is, I think adding rail extensions on them make them look so ugly.
am I the only one who feels this way?
>Muh light trigger
I bet you have a 3 pound trigger in your glock.
tavor too.
I DUNNO MAN IT LOOKS LIKE THIS NIGGA WAS TOO POOR TO BUY SOME FUCKING EYE PROTECTION, SEEMS HE STILL GOT A SCAR THO.
I think the one in the OP is kind neat (particularly in the context) but the kdg rails are ugly as fuck and I hate them
>not spending $10k on a barrett and enjoying the creepiest trigger of all time
Too bad they stopped making them...
also they vary a lot. the trigger in my 17 is not great but the stock one in my 16 is actually pretty nice. I noticed it rubs against the the lower on my 17, so I imagine I could sand the polymer a little and it would take care of some of the creep
SCARtards will pay it
