Opinions on this barrel please

Hi Jow Forums,
Recently moved from Commiefornia to Idaho and I'm getting into guns because fuck yeah.
Just bought my first pistol. I was wondering if this barrel looks like it has life in it. Opinions please

2/10 firing pin looks like it is covered in crusty semen

So is this a fine barrel and just dirty?

what are you expecting from this thread?

how about, and bear with me here, you go shoot the thing and see how it is. I recommend bringing an experienced handgun pal along who can give a testimony of the gun's condition on the range.
but also they'll probably be a bad shot and blame the gun so nvm the barrel is fine, just dirty, why are you worried

Thanks for the reply. Just bought ammo online to save a few schekles. I'm new to the state and dont know anyone that shoot yet. I was worried because there were two identical guns at the pawn shop and I chose mine. it seemed like the rifling in the barrel was less smoothed out on this so I bought it but still didn't know the quality. Thank you for your time user!

it'll be difficult to really scrutinize, either way you won't know until you shoot really but... since you're new to shooting (presumably) you're not the best test bench. Still take it for a spin and if things seem wrong, bring it up, maybe ask the range safety officer to take it for a spin if he doesn't seem bad, or someone you see doing really well.

Pistols are almost impossible to shoot out... The groves are just filthy...

If you just bought it, most guns will come dirty (if not all). Clean the barrel before going to the range, it should be clear after that

Make sure to vote pro gun non democrats :) Welcome
