You can really tell there's power behind the round. I like that all of the parts are pretty much interchangeable for .40, too. I'm pretty happy with it, so far.

HK45, would be a decent choice. Not as much capacity as the USP with 10+1 vs 12+1, but the ergos are light years ahead imho. You also have the FNX line or any of the Glocks & M&Ps if you like striker fired.

Unless you specifically want one it's not really worth the cost, I got an older marine finish one for about $500 less than expected so it was easy to justify to myself. The longer sights, increased durability, and seperate safety/decocker are all you're getting if you don't suppress it over a USP.
I'd save a grand and buy a USP45 Expert instead.
