Shotgun rig thread

I'm looking for inspiration for a shotgun rig. Pic related is kind of unimaginative for $150. Post your shotgun setups. Also who makes the best non pouch shell storage systems? I've tried the ammo pal but it feels shitty and you have to load the shells front to back to get it to work right.

fuck it, post your shotguns too

There isn't a big market for shotgun rigs. Most people use that one or velcro shell cards in mag pouches

SOE is shit and never in stock anywhere. In terms of shotgun rigs, there is the Hitech ksg rig.
Im switching to velcro cards in rifle mag pouches so i dont have 2 seperate rigs

I've got a pair of VTAC shotshell pouches with molle loops on my vest and the pouch exteriors, and a shit-ton of bandoliers and bando-belts and a 18rd bando-sling, I might be able to carry something like 250-300 shells at the expense of not really being able to load anything else

I was also considering just buying a surplus molle vest and sticking on a bunch of pouches or alternative ammo carriers. I don't really feel the need to splurge for a shotgun rig

get a pair of cheap 56rd bandos and use molle-style zip-ties, slick sticks or whatever they're called, and link them together into a broadsided 112rd bando

If you ever try to load shotsgells from a bandolier under stress you'll understand why competitors use shell caddies.

That's where I keep the slugs. Since my Mossberg holds 5+1 rounds that plus the drop-leg makes for two full reloads.

Those normally are special rounds for breaching doors. You do NOT want to mix them up with normal shot.

my dick
diggin it

Nice factory tactical kot.

Except that those lack the retention for anything other than competition use.

>SOE is shit
>Never in stock

How would you know it's shit? I've got their micro rig and it's bomb proof. The craftsmanship is phenomenal. Don't get pissy because you don't have one.

No, you don't, Mr.Tacticool idiot. Yes shell caddies are awesome no doubt. But they're not practical for carrying large amounts of ammo. If you're reloading your shotgun while standing out in the open in the middle of gun fire aka under stress, you're doing it wrong.

>I don't tension my caddies correctly

>I can't dual/quadload from a sitting/prone position

Please.

obvious bait

I may just have to copycat this

considering I run slugs, 00bk, and 4bk, they're typically intermixed, I need to get sdome paint markers and ID everything given alot of them share colors

This thread is for flaming homosexuals. If you where chad you could carry you shells around in pic related and still induce fear

Do it.

SOE is really good. They stitch their shit the right way, they don't skimp. It's never in stock because they're a small company and they always sell out stuff like their rigs really fast. Preorder and you'll get it in a few months. Complain about it being slow, and their asshole owner will make fun of you on Facebook.

Shell caddies like these are fine. The competition rigs that just hold them out for quad loads are going to shit the bed the minute you go prone.

I am a little confused here. Something tells me weight from weapons alone is going to be a problem.
