Most of his videos are just about shooting random things with different firearms at close range. Dude owns a 50 BMG but i have never seen him shoot past 50 yards with it.
I think that we should have a name for people like him. People who treat rifles as pistols and mainly shoot at close range.

How come this guy (and some of the other big gun channels on YouTube) has mentioned NOTHING about the YouTube gun channel ban? Is he really that big of a shill and piece of corporate trash at this point that he won’t even make a video regarding what’s going on? Big channels have already been taken down and more are on the way but these other big channels don’t seem to mind.

I always viewed him as an entertaining channel aimed mostly at teenagers. He's much better at this than his former competitor (fpsrussia). He gets kids into guns and provides some (really) basic balistic information (like ".223 will penetrate more than a 7.62x39). Still, not my cup of tea.

I live in a no guns European country and i grew up watching FPS Russia. I did not care about firearms until very recently when i found out just how rewardiing it is to shoot things at longer ranges and challenge yourself

YouTube pretty much has complete control of the video hosting market. Which is why this bugs me so much. They would be nothing without their creators, but they treat them like shit anyway. They are literally having an all out assault on gun videos right now. How can I respect a company who suddenly creates new rules with vague wording, then applies those rules to videos made long before the rules existed. They know what they're doing, and it's immoral and wrong, because for some of these people YouTube is their livelihood. Liberals want to talk about systematic oppression, well what do they call this? Youtube has always operated at a loss. Claiming that they rely on their content creators has always been a bit of a stretch for that reason, yes youtube is insanely popular but they'd be coming out ahead if they just shitcanned the whole thing.

General formula of his videos is just, start with a pistol caliber, work up to a .308, then finish the video by destroying whatever the target is with .50 BMG. It's extremely formulaic but also pretty entertaining.

It takes effort to edit for sure. Besides that, a lot of what he's shooting costs more than just regular ol paper targets. Ad revenue from views helps cover that cost.

I do, I like him as a personality and I think he's a good entertainer. I've actually kind of gotten bored with demo ranch but I am totally addicted to off the ranch. It sort of makes me want to kill myself because I want a life like his and have no idea how to get it, but I still enjoy watching him raise a family and grow his business.
